No frills and dollarama across the steet. Bus stop right outside the door. Friendly and courteous staff. Room was nice enough. Things were overall clean. However, the only thing I was not okay with was the black mold around the bottom of the shower.

Along the beach trail. Clouds starting to form over the lakes. The park sits midway up the mountain but under the snow line. The park itself is incredibly beautiful with a beach trail that takes you along the edge of the lakes within the park. There are no showers here so something to keep in mind. Only out houses and water pumps. The drive from the base to the park is about 15 minutes and there are lots of pot holes when I went so don't drive too fast or it will take your car out. The closest town is Harrison Hot Springs where you can find a beautiful beach and play area for the kids as well as the Hot Springs - but it does get crazy busy there. #blue
