This property is 111 years old which makes it quiet unique. It seems to be holding up well for it's age.

We had a very nice stay here at Sauda Fjordhotel. It was exciting to hear some of the history of the hotel, and to see all the really old furniture it has in use still! The staff was friendly and super helpful, and the hotel made sure we had gluten-free foods available!!! There are some fantastic views from the hotel too, and we recommend you make a stop here with them

The kabin was ok, but the bathroom was cleen, there was leftover shampo, and alsow the shower cabin was very slipperi, du to lack off cleaning The brekfast was poor, not egg for all gests. Kaffe was week, Not wort the price… Newer again

Herskapelig og gammeldags hotell med stort og fascinerende felles oppholdsrom og også flott uteområde. Nydelig utsikt over fjorden. Veldig blid og sjarmerende resepsjonist med personlighet. Obs: deres frontbilde på hotels.com jeg fikk opp er litt misvisende av svømmebasseng - det er fra badeanlegg i sentrum (ikke inkl i prisen og veldig langt å gå!). Stedet er mye flottere enn et slikt syden-bamseklubb-bilde tilsier. Frokost: enkel.

Bodde 2 netter på Sauda Fjordhotell, og kan trygt si at prisen hadde litt mer selvtillit enn hotellet selv. Standard og pris var ikke helt på talefot. Hotellet er fra 1914, og ja, det har sjel, sjarm og et snev av «gamle dager». Heldigvis var det bare historien som spøkte, ikke rommet. Betjeningen var hyggelig og imøtekommende, og frokosten var liten, men gjorde jobben, litt som en brødskive med leverpostei, ikke spektakulær, men du blir mett. På Hotels.com dukket hotellet opp som familievennlig, men her må det vært litt problem i algoritmene. Ingen leker, ingen aktiviteter, og «badelandet» de reklamerer for er et lite badeland i sentrum som ikke har noe med hotellet å gjøre. Ungene var ikke imponert, men heldigvis var det en fin badestrand med campingen nedenfor som hotellet ikke viste noe om. Uteområdet har potensial, faktisk enormt potensial. Hagen er gigantisk, og det ser ut som det en gang har vært en tennisbane der. Nå er det mest en brun flekk som minner om en dramatisk scene fra en naturdokumentar. Med litt vedlikehold kunne dette vært et skikkelig trekkplaster. Rommet var fint, men badet ropte stille etter litt kjærlighet og oppussing. Alt i alt: Et hotell med sjel, historie og masse uutnyttet potensial, men som trenger en god dose vedlikehold før prisen matcher opplevelsen. Litt som en gammel veteranbil: sjarmerende, men du forventer ikke å betale Tesla pris for den

Personalet var veldig hyggelige, så ut som de trives med arbeidet sitt! Rommet var veldig rent. Frokosten var veldig god, med forskjellige pålegg, salater og brød. Det var et gammelt og ærverdig hotell. Kommet gjerne igjen!!
