Wedding weekend

Perfect location in proximity to the Fortune Valley wedding venue. The home is beautiful and supplied with EVERYTHING you might need. We stay in a lot of VRBO's and this one ranks right near the top.

great for large family get-away

My husband and I, our 3 children, their spouses, and our grandchildren- total of 12- stayed here for a few days. The log cabin was roomy, very clean and extremely well equiped with anything we could possibly need to prepare meals and enjoy our stay. Yuri said his motto is " you only need to bring your toothbrush". He is absolutely correct! Hopefully we will be able to return for another wonderful family vacation.

New York Sheep and Wool Get Together

Fourteen of us stayed here for our NYSW home base. It was perfect! A bed was set up and made for each of us, the kitchen was well equipped and functional. We also were able to gather together and eat together in the living/dining area. Yuri is an excellent and responsive host. Highly recommend!

Wonderful!!!

What a wonderful place for relaxing and gathering! Our family enjoyed every moment! A huge, very well appointed pro kitchen with high end accessories dishes, glassware, and cutlery, make cooking and entertaining a pleasure. Gorgeous uncluttered decor, loads of comfy seating, and an excellent entertainment system allow you to relax and enjoy. Beautiful bathrooms with walk in showers, quality soaps , and an excellent soaking tub in the master bath. Lovely grounds, lots of outdoor seating and a yurt for chilling out! Everything is so tastefully done. Our host Yuri has been wonderful - friendly, accommodating, and communicative. He gave us excellent recommendations for local resources and ideas how to best utilize the home. Many thanks Yuri! Area highlights include the wonderful Opus 40, Woodstock, and Bread Alone. There are many wonderful restaurants and shops within a short drive. Instacart and Door Dash can help with most food and beverage needs so you can maximize the time you spend at this superb accommodation. All in all - highest recommendations for home and host. It was a truly memorable weekend. We'll be back!

Perfect house

This house is magical. Just like the hosts! Yuri and his wife welcomed this group of breast cancer survivors who all live life with less than 2 breasts, as if we were family. No request was unreasonable or met with any hesitation. The property is magnificent with an abundance of flowers and countless hummingbirds. The splendor of the property is mirrored by the beauty of the house on the inside. It is large house and was accommodating for our big group but it gives the feeling of being small and cozy. As a group we have had many experiences with house rentals and NONE have been as gracious and helpful as Yuri. We will be coming back!

Delightful Thanksgiving retreat

Our family of 6 enjoyed this home for Thanksgiving week. It was immaculately clean, and very spacious for our group. (Could easily accommodate more, with cots in the closets and even a yurt in the yard). We stayed cozy with the wood stove and fire pit. Most of us were keeping up with work/school and we had no problems with Wifi. We have rented a lot of vacation homes but this one probably had the best kitchen we've encountered - lots of space, top-level new appliances, everything you could want for Thanksgiving or anytime. We had never visited the Hudson River Valley before and found it very charming, even in a pandemic and even in the off-season. There are beautiful historic towns all around, lots of farms and local food, and plenty of hiking trails. Yuri was a very knowledgeable and responsive host. Highly recommend this property!

Wedding weekend dream come true

We rented this house for ourselves and our friends for our wedding weekend around the corner. It was the best decision, large group and we had plenty of places to sleep, the yard gave ample space for activities, the sound system kept us entertained, and the kitchen made hosting a large group a breeze. Yuri was amazing in making himself available and our stay memorable. Can’t wait to visit again!

10/10 beautiful home!

INCREDIBLE property!! There were 16 of us and we fit perfectly. The house is decked out with everything you need: blankets, pillows, towels, all the kitchen appliances you could imagine etc. Super cute to many towns like Woodstock, Hunter, Kingston, Hudson. Yuri, the host, is amazing. Was very accommodating and super responsive. He set out extra beds for us to make sure we were all comfortable and would respond within minutes when we needed help. The property itself is huge and so comfortable and beautiful. The Yurt is so fun and a cool bonus. 10/10 stay!! Would recommend and 100000% would stay again.

Thanksgiving

Yuri went above and beyond to make sure every detail was covered . We had a family gathering for Thanksgiving and had everything we needed to cook and serve for 17 people. We would love to come back and if we do we’ll definitely book here again!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! We had a group of 15 for my Bachelorette party and had plenty of space. Yuri's communication was detailed and quick. The house is just as beautiful and clean as it looks in the pictures and had every amenity you could need. We all said we want to come back again! I highly recommend this property! The only recommendation I have for others renting here is to plan accordingly if using ride sharing services. We spent a night out in Woodstock and found that after 11pm there were not many cars available. We used a local taxi service to bring us back. However, earlier in the evening we didn't have a problem booking rides.

Amazing Mountain Getaway!

I rented this property for a bachelorette and it BEYOND exceeded expectations. The house looks even better than it does in the photos & it is completely stocked with everything you need. We had a private chef come one night and they were stunned at how gorgeous the kitchen was and how well equipped it was! Yuri is also the best host - from before we arrived at the property until we left, he was incredibly quick to respond and so helpful. I'd love to rent this property again - perhaps in the winter this time :)

Best rental experience ever

AMAZING PROPERTY with an amazing property manager. Stayed here with 10 girls for my sister's bachelorette weekend and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The day we arrived there was a snow storm and Yuri was in communication with me to make sure the driveway had been plowed before we all arrived - he also made a ton of great recommendations of places to check out. My favorite part of the house was the kitchen, it is a home cook's dream and I had a blast preparing brunch for the girls in it. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

The kitchen was amazing! They have every gadget appliance you could want/ need! We had such a wonderful time cooking drinking it was great family time together. It was easy an drive to Woodstock and Rhinebeck too!
