Love the location! Just perfect outside the city limit, the place was very cozy and comfortable!! Lots of fun things to do! The gazebo place by the creek was amazing! Perfect play spot for littles! I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful secluded cabin close to Helen and Waterfall Hikes

We wanted to be near Helen but away from the tourist crowds. This was the perfect spot. The amenities include a hot tub and a gazebonear a small creek.

A true gem nestled in Helen

Our family of 7 truly loved this cabin. The host was the best I've encountered. Every amenity you could need it right on site. The decor was fabulous and adorable. We are already looking forward to coming back to stay at this exact cabin again.

Perfect getaway spot.

The pictures don't do this place justice at all. The house is older but has a great layout. The porch, gazebo and deck are incredible. The creek and the view are just amazing.

Tucked Away

Town of Helen Ga is a unique little town in North GA with a theme of a German Village one might see in Bavaria. Nice restaurants and shops and very nice people! We went tubing on the Chatahoochie river and had a great time. Also hiked to Anna Ruby Falls only a half a mile from our cabin. I would reccommend this place to anyone thinking of a trip to the area. Oh, and the Hot tub was really nice too!

Amazing Vacay Home

This property was perfect in every way. Very convenient to Helen and the surrounding area but far enough away to be peaceful. Plenty of space, well stocked, comfortable beds. The stream running through the property was nice to hear. The hot tub and screened porch were nice to have. The host was very responsive. I would stay here again the next time I was in the area.

Great Home!

The pictures do not do this home justice. I was very pleasantly surprised, the home was a lot better than I expected. The home was clean and well stocked. A nice private setting. The sounds of the creek are very relaxing. The home was very well laid out and felt nice and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

Location location location!!! Less than 5 mins from Helen, we loved the quite and peaceful property. It was also convenient to be north of town so close to 75alt so we could bypass Helen traffic getting in and out of the area. I could sit on the porch swing and listen to the creek and the forest all day. The kids loved playing in the hot tub which was working just fine, and we enjoyed sharing meals around the beautiful dining table. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (pots pans and cooking utensils, filters for the coffee maker) The cabin was fairly clean, fresh sheets and towels, kitchen was spotless, and no dust was found on the furniture. There was a build up of dust around vents in the bathroom, and the sliding glass door to the patio was difficult to open and close. There were a lot of spiders and cobwebs outside around the property, but the house is literally in the forest so the bugs are to be expected. If you’re planning on tubing on the river there is a collection of push sticks in the laundry room you can use so you don’t need to purchase any. The driveway is gravel, so the host provided 2 really large rugs in the entry way to wipe your feet and leave your shoes inside on the rugs to contain the gravel. Owner is super quick to respond via text and very helpful. We loved the property and would stay again!

Liked the property

We liked the property, however the bunk beds were not made with sheets in piles on the bed. There was trash scattered inside and outside. Nothing major, but enough to make us question if a cleaning company was used or just hurriedly straightened up before. The hot tub was empty and had debris in it. I had to fill it up for us to use. However, we did enjoy our stay after we had to do a little work. The kids really enjoyed the creek, and the lower deck. We had an amazing time in Helen and Unicoi State Park. The location was really awesome, and secluded while being less than 10 minutes to either place.

Nice house with a lot of wildlife

The house and property were very nice. It sits off the road and has a lot of privacy. It was big enough for my family. Party of 7. All the toilets are low but no biggie. This is a dog friendly house so there was a lot of dog hair. There was a large black bear in our trash!! The owner needs to communicate better about where the trash should be placed. We had to clean up the previous tenants trash because the bear scattered all over the yard. Please make sure to watch your animals and small children here! I would stay here again. 🙂🙂

Secluded cabin with a great small creek and property. Hot tub needs maintenance as there were two loose pieces in the tub on the bottom. No laundry soap, but dryer sheets were available. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well stocked. Grill needs new burners as flames were mostly in the front. We enjoyed the firepit and the detached area by the creek. I would rent this cabin. We had a nice time.

Perfect getaway

Quaint comfortable home in perfect location. Only 5 minute drive to downtown Helen but set back in the woods where it felt very secluded. Our family loved the property and would definitely return. Great for a couple’s getaway or full family retreat.

Awesome retreat

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. It was close enough to Helen but away from the crowds. It was spacious. There were plenty of towels and blankets. The cabin was decorated very cute. It’s very relaxing and we would stay again!

Thank you for letting us stay. We enjoyed the home away from home. It was relaxing. My family enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub and the waterfall. Definitely a rememberable birthday. My family would love to come back and stay again in the home. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone that would going to the area and needed a place to stay.
