AMAZING VIEWS

The house is absolutely Beautiful. Everything you need to include a regular coffee pot and a Kerig. The 3 separate suites was PERFECT for our group. We had deer in the morning come right up to the fire pit. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

Fantastic cabin

Loved our stay at Soaring Eagle Cabin. Had everything we needed available. Loved our evenings by the outside firepit. Beautiful view from cabin and drive to cabin was easy. Would love to stay again.

Soaring Eagle Cabin Stay

The property was very nice & had everything needed, for a perfect secluded stay for a weekend getaway. The only thing was that the property had too many spider webs throughout various places inside & outside of the cabin. It was clean, & tidy plus the location is great very close to the downtown Helen. We will definitely return in the near future !

Loved the cabin

The cabin was so wonderful! Spacious and beautiful, we loved the decor as well, it felt like a home which we appreciated! We did find some leftover food in the microwave when we arrived, as well as some other spots in the home that weren't super clean, just a heads up! Otherwise it was picture perfect.

This is a really nice property. My children said that it was the nicest place at which we’ve ever stayed. Very clean. Very comfortable. Spacious. All of the furnishings seem to be relatively new. The pool table was a nice addition. 5-10 minutes to Helen.

Christmas 2023 getaway

We’ve stayed at Soaring Eagle several times over the last few years. It’s always our go to cabin. It has 3 master suites, loads of room and phenomenal views. For Florida flat landers the drive in and paved driveway is an huge bonus! Unfortunately on this stay we found that a developer is building directly off the back deck of the home. I was so disheartened, as I imagine the owners are as well. Even with the new construction we will still book Soaring Eagle in the future.

Awesome property bring mace

This property has an open deck and ferral dogs that visit. One an aggressive pit. Otherwise the cabin in beautiful in so many ways, the balconies and master suites! Just know that at the end of your wonderful vacation you will have to haul all your garbage 7 miles down the road to a dumpster and Vacasa reps that will not budge with any special requests. Great property, crappy service.

Nice Rental House and Great Location

We used this time as a family gathering from a few locations. The house location was perfect. The amenities at the house were nice, with the hot tub, fire pit and porches. Check-in/out was easy and we could pop over to Unicoi within minutes and downtown Helen within 10. The reason I couldn't give 5 stars was for simple fixes that just weren't done. Although the house seemed clean at first glance, we are pretty sure it hasn't been dusted in a long time. The lighting was covered with a good layer of dust, and the wine class holder in the kitchen dropped small balls of dust into the food we had laid out on the island. Nasty! Behind the piano and strung from chandeliers were lines of spider webs. As one of us was about to get into the shower upstairs, we noticed the shower pull didn't work. How inconvenient! When we reached out to the rental company, they said that they knew about it from the previous renters and it needed to be fixed. Why wasn't it fixed before we rented it? The home is great for families, but take your own soap! Each bathroom was supplied with one makeup remover pad. We had to go into town to buy soap for the kitchen and bathrooms. Please consider upping the quality of hand towels in this home. We had 2 paper-thin towels that were not absorbent. When paying this much, it would be nice to have decent hand towels (easy, cheap fix). We prepped food one night during our stay and had to wash the pans prior to cooking. Very nice home, cleanliness was average.

Beautiful House

We loved the lay out of this house and the pictures are just as shown on the website. It is a very relaxing place with good energy and plenty of elbow room for a family of various ages. We would like to give it 5 stars but found that for this price point and all the service fees, the management should be more customer friendly — for example, there was no coffee to be found on site, and so we had to go out to buy some (at least a 15 minute ride one way to a store) before going to bed. As another example the management has checkout on a Sunday at 10am, and also expects you to take your trash to their office when you leave — sure seems like all the service fees they charge should cover this. Overall though, this is a beautiful house and sufficient for a quick trip to the GA mountains.

Best holiday experience for large family!

Overall the stay was amazing! Beautiful home, exactly as in the pictures but even more spacious! Large bedrooms and baths allow for families with little ones. Beds were comfortable and linen smelled great and fresh! Bathroom/tubs could use a little more detailed cleaning, but overall home was clean and homey! Ran out of gas on Dec 31st, but quickly got replacements on the 1st. Plenty of pots, pans, cutlery-but no spices or cleaning products. Big suggestion would be to stock it better with essentials (soap/shower gel, shampoo, dish soap, toilet paper-as we got bare minimum for a 5 night stay! Worst part was having to take the trash daily to a dump site about 2 Miles away in your own car which is ridiculous…especially with $800+ in service/utilities fees NOT good! Overall we enjoyed our stay and it’s a lovely home! Thanks

Getaway

Beautiful home. Close to town. Big hot tub. Propane fire pit was nice. Balcony on every room which was very nice. Bathroom in every bedroom very nice&convenient. The light above the hot tub was out. The piano was out of tune-we are a piano playing family so this kinda sucked. Some of the tvs are outdated. We couldn't get the tv in the downstairs bedroom to work. The rug in the kitchen&under the sofa table are dirty&discolored. There are no dressers in the bedrooms for clothes. There were lots of cobwebs. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty-like dusty. The shower curtain liners needed to be replaced. The showers in the upstairs bathrooms need some attention-the handles weren't working for the shower part. In one bathroom it was very loose&about to fall off. There was a pair of dirty underwear left in the dryer from the previous guest. We found a fake eyelash on the floor by the pool table. The balcony railing was broke-the one where the fire pit is and could cause a potential fall. The silver wear in the drawers were dirty as well. You can also hear the toilets flush in the downstairs bedroom-sounds like its coming down the wall-it's not but just pointing this out if you are a light sleeper. The unit outside the downstairs bedroom is also right outside the window by the bed and very loud if you are a light sleeper like me. So overall for the price I wasn't impressed. If it was cleaner and the showers worked properly I wouldn't say it was too bad.

Great home not so clean

The home is beautiful. Just wish it was as clean as it looked in the pictures. There was tooth paste spit splattered on the bathroom cabinets, most of the wine glasses had lips stains, one bath tub had dirt on the bottom and ALL the bathrooms smelled of mildew. Just did not get a clean vibe. Paying the amount we did, I would expect an immaculate place to stay, especially for 4 days...Also, only 3 trash bags for 10 people staying for 4 days is ridiculous. Ofcourse we had to buy an entire box and last but not least the ice machine didn't work and again we had to buy ice bags, which we left one there for the next people that stayed! I sent an email to Vacasa and received a reply email stating "I will let the local staff know. They should be contacting you soon." And no one ever contacted me. Owners, please check in with the company and cleaning staff..your home is too beautiful to be ran by a company that isn't giving their best!

Wonderful getaway!

The home is absolutely beautiful. All if the special lighting sets, inside and out, is a wonderful mood setter as well. The hot tub was great during the cool evenings.Everyone enjoyed having their own suite and the pool table was a plus.

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

Loved our stay at Soaring Eagle. My family and I had a great experience. The hosts were very helpful and had great service. The home is a beautiful mountain cabin, tucked away in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with amazing view of the mountains. It’s a great size and has all amenities you may need. It’s short drive from downtown, Unicoi State Park and Anna Ruby Falls.

Wonderful Mountain Getaway

Loved the cabin — inside and out…very warm, comfy and enjoyable. The baby grand piano added a nice touch to our stay. Views are amazing with big open windows at every turn. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything needed.to prepare dinner on our first night and breakfast in the mornings. Playing pool was a lot of fun and the perfect way to relax after visiting Helen and Brasstown Ball during the day. So glad we booked for 3 nights, otherwise, we would have been really sad to have to leave any earlier! Will definitely be back next year!
