Quaint Cozy Cottage

We thought this was exactly how it was described, Country Cottage. The only thing we was a little negative about would be that there was not washer & Dryer. My bad... it never said it had these. Would absolutely stay again.Thanks for sharing with our family.

Hiking trip to North Georgia

Central to locations we visited ( Tallulah Gorge, Brasstown Bald, AT/Preachers Rock, Anna Ruby Falls, Helen and Dahlonega. Appreciated the privacy, kitchen well appointed, fire pit fun, very comfortable. Loved all the bear decorations. One thing I am finding frustrating… I have completed the same forms for Vacasa and now VRBO. I initially made my reservation via my VRBO app but since then to have had most communication with Vacasa. We could not enter the house with code at back door. When I called for assistance I spoke with a Vacasa rep. I had to walk down to highway and then to a campground trying to find service with my cell phone. Thankful for owner of the campground who let me use her phone to reach the agent. I think you should combine your forms!

Quiet and close to Helen GA and Unicoi State Park

A great location. Less than 10 minutes to Helen and about 5 minutes to Unicoi State Park. Go to Helen and/or go for a hike then a quick drive to peace and quiet.

Beautiful property

My family and I have really enjoyed our stay. This cabin is not only nice but the neighborhood is very peaceful. It was only a short drive to Helen.

Great property!

My husband and I wanted to check out the town of Helen and this home was the perfect place to stay. We were a short drive to Helen and as a bonus we went to Unicoi State Park to hike and see Anna Ruby Falls. I highly recommend you do all of these things!

L O V E this cabin!

This is the perfect comfy and cozy, quaint cabin. It is not fancy schmancy, but it IS homey and that was perfect for us. It has SUCH a cute little cabin feel. It rained during most of our visit so we did not get to take advantage of the outdoor firepit but we played games our entire stay and had a lovely trip to Helen. Our teenager and our youngest daughters both loved it and are already asking when we can go back.

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

We celebrated our 22nd anniversary at this quaint little cabin, nestled in the beautiful autumn woods. If you’re looking for a small, quiet cabin to rest and relax, away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. We loved it! Booking, check-in, and check-out were incredibly easy, and communication from the property managers was on-point. We will definitely return.

Peaceful retreat

This property was great for our weekend getaway. Close to Anna Ruby Falls and Helen. House was clean and perfect for a quiet weekend. The mattresses were a little firmer than we would have liked. But that was the only small down side. The house was well equipped. Had strong internet to keep our teenager happy. The porch is a great place to relax and hand breakfast. And we enjoyed sitting outside around the fire pit. Easy check in process. Would definitely rent this property again.

Home away from home

This was the perfect cabin for our family of 3 (though it could sleep more). Comfy beds and our son loved the loft space. I think I could have spent our whole vacation on the porch and been just fine. The cabin felt like a home with the gnomes and blanket baskets and personal family touches, and the Bible verses in the different rooms made us feel very comfortable and safe. Reserving through VRBO and Vacasa was so easy, and check-out has never been easier, and this was my first time booking through either organization, so the whole process was perfect even for a first-timer.

Cozy

We enjoyed our stay immensely. We used the Porch every night. Cleanliness was pretty good. Comforter had blood spots on it so I took it off. It does need to be cleaned before next arrivals. The silverware draw had some kind of big pieces of food in them. Couldn’t determine what it was. Under the bed it was dusty. Hadn’t been moped for a while I’m guessing. Overlooking those things we enjoyed the peace and quite of the mountains. Thank you.

Our home away from Home

The cabin was quaint & cute, loved the Christmas decorations inside & out. It was very clean & it had everything you need for a week’s stay. It was very quiet & you felt isolated from everything although not too far from the highway. Would love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the so many outdoor summer activities the area has to offer. Helen was lovely, Anna Ruby Falls breathtaking.

Sweet home in the mountains

We loved the property. Pictures were spot on. Everything we expected. A few things we didn't expect....the master bedroom bed is very uncomfortable. I do not have back issues but my back hurt the entire time. A greasy mug with bacon grease was left in the cabinet. The upstairs bedroom had live & dead wasps. A few live ones which made for uneasy sleeping & a ton of dead ones. No hand soap in the downstairs bathroom. FYI the outside string lights are not working. Overall our family had a great time in your cabin & loved our family time for our weekend getaway. Thank you!

Nice cabin, but not secluded

We had a great trip and enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The big porch was lovely - we had every meal out on the picnic table and sat around the firepit each night. To provide honest feedback, this cabin is not at all secluded as the first line of the description indicates. It's right off the Highway, and you can hear every single car that passes by when sitting outside. Not only that, but you can also hear the neighbors up the hill - we could hear their exact conversations and music playing. This was less than desirable, especially when we thought the cabin would be more secluded. Another thing to note is that there is no dishwasher, which is not a complaint against the house, but just more of an inconvenience. We cooked every meal, so there were a lot of dishes piling up in the sink, and the last thing you want to think about on vacation is hand washing dishes!
