Loved every minute

This rental was in a great location, very walkable to Broughton St/the river, Forsyth Park, Starland and beyond! The space itself was very comfortable and private, we would definitely stay there again!

Do Not Recommend

I did not end up staying at this property after finding black mold when I first arrived. I inspected the property after I saw a bad review a day before my trip. They did give me a full refund, but I was stranded on a park bench trying to find out where to stay on my first day of vacation. They gave me nothing for the inconvenience and wouldn’t let me use the pool, which was part of my plans the weekend I was there. I would not recommend staying at any of the southern bell properties.

Charming :)

Very professionally managed property. We loved the central historic district location--perfect for morning and evening walks in beautiful Savannah. Having access to the pool on Tybee Island was great as well, gave us a reason to get out to the beach and a nice way to transition back to Savannah afterwards. Very responsive customer care by text. Very clean apartment. It was quite small for me, my husband and our small kid--we didn't inflate the air mattress for her and couch is too short for an adult to sleep on, but none of this is a fault. Note courtyard is not private--the neighbor has a table there, which is not part of this property and it didn't feel like somewhere we could hang out but there is a beautiful park only a few steps away, so that's not a problem. Charming book store downstairs with cats in the window. We loved the stay.

The apartment is in a good area. If you want to do early check-in forget about it. You can’t. They will say it’s being cleaned. When we entered the apartment it had a strange an unpleasant smell. The apartment was humid and I’m sure had mold. I spent the the three days of my stay sick with asma and allergies. As soon as I would leave the apartment. I would feel better. This is not a good apartment for someone with allergies. The apartment has barely two windows. It doesn’t get a lot of natural light. The internet wasn’t working the last two nights. If you want to go to the pool, you have to drive 20 minutes. There’s no laundry. The enterance was filled with mosquitoes. You couldn’t even sit outside. I feel bad because I couldn’t enjoy my vacation. When I took my plane home I felt like a completely different person. I later went to a hospital. I don’t know if other customers brought animals, but I know another customer found animal poop on their stay.

Ideal Location

We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed the convenient location this apartment offered. It has everything you need to be comfortable. A quick walk to all the best historical sites, restaurants, and bars. The short drive to the pool was easy and a fun way to see more of the area. We'd stay here again.
