Guest Access:
Guests enter through a shared building entrance and have full access to the condo (Apt 2) for the stay. Check-in is contactless with a smart lock code sent by the day of arrival. Quiet hours are 8pm to 8am. Parties and events need to be coordinated with the host first.
The Neighborhood:
Oglethorpe Square is one of Savannah's six original colonial squares. The condo faces the square and is next to the Owens-Thomas House and Slave Quarters. Leopold's Ice Cream is about half a block away, the Olde Pink House about two blocks, Broughton Street about a three minute walk, City Market about seven minutes, and River Street about a twelve minute walk. Forsyth Park is about a fifteen minute walk.
Getting Around:
You will not need a car for most of a Savannah stay from here. Uber and Lyft are widely available. Tybee Island's beaches are about 25 minutes by car, and the Savannah/Hilton Head airport is about 20 minutes away. Parking is not included with the condo, but metered street parking and a parking garage are available right next door at 100 E State Street.
Other Things to Note:
The apartment is in a building with other short term and local residents, so please keep noise to a minimum between 8pm and 8am. The original windows let in some city light and sound; a sound machine, earplugs, and an eye mask are provided.
Interaction with Guests:
We live close by and are reachable through the app or by phone any time. You are set up for self check-in, with your door code sent through the app by 3pm on arrival day. The space does not allow pets.
