“When searching for a place to stay in Sayulita for 3 weeks, we were looking for a pool, ac, a location that allowed us to easily walk into town but was separate from the chaos, in an authentically Mexican styled building. We got all that and more. Xochitlan does a great job of combining modern amenities with Mexican charm. “The toilet was dirty. The glasses were dirty. Missing a towel rode. Never did get wifi. When I said something the response was lacklustre. Sorry, when I walk into a place and there’s cootys on the toilet I have an issue! I understand the challenges but my opinion made no difference. If you want to be close to the beach and don’t really care, this the place for you. There’s a band/DJ right underneath your balcony that goes till midnight every night, fyi. Didn’t bother me. “Manuel was very responsive, and Carlos brought us what we needed. For a group of 5 or 6, this is a perfect stay. Water is provided free, just message Manuel and he’ll make it happen. The space was excellent and it should be mentioned that you are next to a farm which has a donkey, roosters and numerous chickens. But as far as a cultural experience, you’re 100% certain to get that here :)”
