"Very recommendable! An excellent way to go back in time and relax in av very nice atmosphere whilst doing so. In nice weather you can enjoy the surroundings and beautiful nature, and in bad weather you can just stay indoors and take in every aspect of living in an old Norwegian mansion as they did a hundred years ago."

The “stables” building we stayed in was so badly sound insulated that we literally were privy to every conversation in rooms above and around us, as well as snoring, moving of bags, flushing toilets etc. The room was “newly renovated” within the last 10 years, but the renovation was so cheap that it was more about a superficial product than comfort. "Interesting modern architecture and layout of the hotel. I liked the bar area with the offerings of local beer and food. The cheeseburger was one of the best I’ve ever had - no kidding! There are interesting areas on the ground and 1st floors to sit and enjoy a beverage and food. The room was small as most are in Europe but functional. The one draw back was the sink in the room.
