"The location is amazing and the amenities adequate. I felt check in was quite slow and the staff seemed straight out and because so was a little uncourteous, curt, and and harried, so I am giving four stars based upon that. But I would still stay here again. We enjoyed the restaurant, and the location really is where you want to be - so convenient for walking everywhere, or taking an uber if you need to go outside the immediate area. Our day may have had influencing unique things that made the staff snappy, but it wasn’t five star service (or even a neutral reception - I felt like a burden for having shown up)."

"The Hyatt Regency on the Riverwalk is a beautiful hotel and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent. The hotel location is located at a perfect location for walking to various locations such as the Alamo, restaurants, fast food and shopping without having to drive anywhere. Parking is across the street and had no issues getting quick access in and out when needing to drive. I would recommend staying here and will be back to this hotel when visiting San Antonio in the future."

"Fire alarm kept going off throughout the night, waking us up. Iron did not work. Dishwasher was not connected to cabinet and fell right out. Did not work. No one ever answered when we called the front desk. It took several requests to get an iron to us. I heard several leather guests also complaining. "

"The air conditioners are old and emit a heavy smell of mold. I have traveled for a living and never had the type of allergies that I did at this hotel. Two sleepless nights, I had to leave early, couldn't handle more. That said the staff was extremely professional and thoughtful. My poor review is based on the property having mold not the staff."
