Wow! We loved this stay here beautiful area of Italy and what a view from the property,if you are looking for some a little unique this is it nice rooms really nice people good food dinner and breakfast was wonderful highly recommend and YES would absolutely stay here again

Quaint

Positives were that is was very quaint, beautiful view from balcony, excellent bed, and excellent food. Negatives were bees in the room and narrow roads to get up the mountain. It is located in the mountains about 15 minutes from Lake Como.

Our reservations were booked and prepaid eight months ago. Upon arrival they had no reservation for us. They were able to accommodate us for one night of the two we reserved, and made arrangements at another Agriturismo nearby which was also very nice. Agriturismo Al Marnich was very apologetic and helpful as well as being a beautiful, clean wonderful place to stay.

Farm in the hills

Amazing experience high up in the hills. Dining room had some longer tables enabling conversation( language allowing) Road up from Autostrada to Schignano interesting! Directions from Schignano were good but would have been perfect if a photo of sign had been included as several other names were included on that board.

Une étape franchement dépaysante !

Tout en charme et en rusticité, cette auberge est d'une rare authenticité. L'accueil du patron est chaleureux. La cuisine est très savoureuse, mélangeant simplicité et recherche avec une carte variée qui change tous les jours, sans doute pour susciter l'envie d'y retourner (ce qui est plus pratique pour le dîner car cet hôtel est un peu loin de tout). Optez si possible pour une grande chambre, elles sont plus spacieuses, mais toutes meublées d'une façon tellement originale que le charme est total.

Après avoir lu de très bons avis, nous avions choisi cet hôtel. Certes la route est périlleuse, mais nous le savions. Une fois arrivés, l'entrée de l'accueil n'est pas bien indiqué et nous n'avons mis du temps à trouver. Cet accueil a été assez passable, avec une hôtesse parlant mal anglais, donnant peu d'explication sur le séjour. La découverte de la chambre a été très décevante. Elle doit faire à peine 8 m2. Même pas de chaise pour poser les vêtements. Une lampe de chevet qui ne fonctionne pas et des WC qui fuient en permanence. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre mais l'hôtel était complet et l'hôtesse ne savait pas si on pourrait changer le lendemain car elle n'avait pas le planning ! Nous espérions nous rattraper sur le repas (car les avis étaient excellents). Les prix étaient très élevés et nous avons testé la pizza pour 8 euros. En fait on nous a servi une petite portion de pizza, qui, si elle était faite maison, de datait pas du jour : pate dure, fromage réchauffé. Bref, vraiment pas bon. Le vin rouge aussi, très acide. Nous avons donc décidé de quitter l'établissement le lendemain bien que nous ayons réservés 3 nuits (et nous espérions une meilleure chambre pour 3 nuits !). A notre départ, nous avons rencontré le patron qui a reconnu que notre accueil n'a pas été à la hauteur, et qui s'est excusé pour la chambre, mais selon lui, cela faisait partie de ce que nous avions réservé. Devant notre déception, il nous a tout de même offert notre repas du soir.

Die Lage ist wirklich Klasse. Aber der Weg von der Autobahn dahin dauert über eine halbe Stunde, durch viele kleine Strassen in Schlangenlinien den Berg hoch. Wer das nicht mag oder ein nicht so sicherer Fahrer ist, sollte nicht dahin fahren. Das Frühstück ist Klasse und sehr gut. Das Abendessen kostet extra, ist sehr gut aber ist nicht ganz billig.
