Everything was perfect. Clean room, excellent pool, friendly staff and the food in the restaurant was really exceptional. Fantastic location too.
A wonderful welcome from the front desk staff- Jacinta and Erin. Ana Marie greets you with a smile in the restaurant and offers the best coffee and meal to start your day. Conor is friendly and is always available for assistance at the leisure center. If you happen to get a sea view room you will love it!
Absolutely beautiful hotel. I stayed at this hotel when it was the East End hotel as a child but it's totally different now. They rebuilt the whole thing including a swimming pool below.
The staff were amazing, spotless spacious rooms, great location, amazing breakfast freshly cooked to order, wish we could have stayed longer. I have family around Schull so we will be back.
It is an old hotel but well kept. The rooms had coffee and tea. It was warm but we just opened the window. The workers are all very friendly and helpful.
We spent 2 nights while travelling around Ireland. We had stayed in the area a few years back.
The hotel was very nice as were the facilities.
The restaurant was excellent for dinner, but breakfast could have been better. The staff on breakfast were not as experienced as dinner staff.
The room was good and the bathroom although small had a powerful shower. I thought as this was a premium room it might have a better bathroom.
The view from the room was excellent, looking over the harbour. Room 105.
Very nice hotel boutique size. Very well staffed, very friendly and helpful. Probably booked most cost effective room which had no to poor views. For that only reason it was not value for money.
Request a room with water view of the harbour. It's south facing. Restaurant had several flavorful selections, one evening we shared a cheese board of local cheeses paired with fruits and jam. Free public parking across the street.
The staff at the front desk, particularly Tilly, were incredibly friendly, helpful and kind. We had car trouble while staying in Schull and they couldn't have been more helpful. The Schull Harbor Hotel is perfectly situated for strolling the pretty seaside town.

Hot showers and comfortable beds. Was a little run down but otherwise okay for a good nights rest. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Bar next door was nice. Walking distance in a very small town.
The staff was extremely accommodating for my 5 year old son. I accidentally booked the wrong size room and they took care of it. We ate breakfast and dinner there and it was excellent. Beautiful view of the water as well!

Nice location
Hotel is in a lovely location. Room is relatively clean apart from a dead spider not hoovered up.
I do like the cookies you receive and coffee machine is very good.
What I didn't like was that the iron didn't work and it's the second time I have stayed that I had this problem. I asked reception for a new iron but this was never delivered to the room. Not a major issue but for business customers a decent iron is needed.
The Schull Harbour Hotel was a wonderful stay on the coast during winter The room was amazing, so was the staff. I was upgraded to a larger room due to Christmas, so was very thankful for a room with a view. Incredible stay. The exterior businesses that may or may not be part of the hotel: pool and restaurant ... the pool wasn't warm, but still brisk and enjoyable. The meals were beautifully done and arranged, but just not that spectacular tasting on my palate.

Avoid room 110
Avoid room 110 and the hotel in general. Should only be considered as a last resort.
Overpriced basic hotel with mediiocre rooms, inconsiderate, unfriendly and unaccommodating staff.
Noise in our room from fan in kitchen below was similar to that of washing machine on spin cycle and the vibrations of the headboard made sleep impossible. Receptionist said it should be switched off by 21:00 but it wasn't and there was nothing he could or rather would do despite the hotel being half empty.
This is a known issue (see other guest reviews) yet kitchen staff care too liittle about guests to switch off the fan before they leave and the receptionist can't be bothered to allocate a quieter room, switch it off or relocate guests to another room even when the hotel is half empty.
We travelled 8hrs today for a family emergency, are facing a sleepless night before a long day tomorrow and this was the hospitality and service we received at the Schull Harbour Hotel.
Avoid if you can. You will receive twice the welcome, service and hospitality at any local B&B for half the price.
