Wonderful hotel! Breakfasts and dinners are fantastic, pools and spas are amazing, rooms we clean and well maintained, staff is attentive. We will definitely be back!
The location of this hotel is perfect. We really enjoyed the newly renovated pool area, and our kids had a lot of fun on the waterslides. The food and service was great, we will definitely return!
We had family ski trip to Mayrhofen and stayed in this hotel. We enjoyed food, facilities and excellent apartment with full kitchen.
Probably , we will come back if decide to go to Mayrhofen again.
Excellent all round. Lovely clean hotel and surrounding areas. Pristine accommodation with friendly and attentive staff. Lots of options for food and drink with an option to swap a half board for a fondue and an unbelievable breakfast option. Sensational spa too, which was an added bonus
We had a beautiful room which was upgraded to a suite on arrival. Room and hotel was very clean. Food at hotel was lovely and staff were really friendly. Spa area was good too
Fantastic hotel and location. Great facilities. Kinder basement area needs airing.

4 night trip
On arriving I was ignored and left waiting for a long time while 3 people on the
desk dealt with one phone call. Room is very dated but spacious, warm and clean. In general, not all but most of the staff were very cold, unfriendly, the bar man in particular was rude. I only stayed b&b, not half board and so a big deal was made of this each morning when I asked where to sit, very odd. On a positive the breakfast and restaurant area is of a high quality and the spa facilities very impressive.
Lovely hotel with both a traditional part of the hotel and a brand new part including a state of the art spa which opened in December apparently.
The spa area was amazing, indoor and outdoor pools (both a little cold!), outdoor jacuzzi (also a little cold!), lots of relaxation rooms with loungers, two saunas of different temperatures, one 90 degree huge panoramic sauna which can easily seat 40-50 people, the other a 60 degree one which is hardly used. Suprisingly the new complex doesnt have a steam room but there is one in the original part of the hotel on the ground floor. Please note, the top floor sauna area, is an adult only nude area!
The rooms in the original part of the hotel are very traditional, with a balcony overlooking the mountain range. They are comfortable but nothing fancy or modern. The only down side is that the rooms do not have any tea or coffee making facilities which i did miss in the mornings and evenings.
The food both at breakfast and evenings are all very good and plentiful.
The location is also situated within walking distance to the main high street including apres ski bars. One tip i would recommend is hiring a ski locker at the top of the Penkenbahn so that you leave all your ski gear at the top of the main gondola and walk back to the hotel in normal shoes! This is well worth 24 euros for a two person locker!
Would definitely recommend and return to the same hotel is heading to Mayrhofen.
Overall we had a lovely stay. We were in an apartment across from the main hotel, it was bright, clean and roomy. Two balconies with views of the mountains and the garden in front as well as the picturesque hotel building itself. Most evenings there was live music in the beer garden opposite it was pleasant and finished at 10pm.
Reception staff were always very helpful and spoke great English, restaurant staff lovely too. Food plentiful, tasty if probably a bit over salted for me, coffee not the best. Nice salad buffet as has been standard in most hotels we've been to in Austria. Choice 2-3 of soups, mains and starters too if you count the vegan options.
Free city bikes were good, we pedaled down towards Zell and had a game of mini golf and a gentle pedal back.
Ebikes were very reasonably priced to hire to hire from the hotel we pedaled to the end of the Stilluptal hardly touching the battery, you can afford to use much more assistance than we did and you'll be fine! (Be aware the bikes are all sized medium, a bit small for my husband at 6'1 but well suited to everyone else!)
The swimming lake was lovely, I'm not sure how long it's been there but the plants still need to bed in to help perfect the filtration. The surroundings were beautiful with the mountains, picturesque buildings and gardens with plenty of shade if needed. (They are building an enormous new bath house at the moment and there was and will be some construction noise over the next couple of months working
I am returning customer because I love how the hotel is situated. Mayrhofen is still a village but with many options to spend a day. The new garden of the hotel is amazing. I am sure I will revisit this hotel.
Lovely place and an amazing location next to the train station in the center of Mayrhofen. My only criticism is the speed of service in the restaurant of an evening. If you enjoy a 2.5 hr dinner its great but if you want a quick bite, maybe call half-board.
