1 night stay, good breakfast, uncomfortable beds.

The check in went smoothly, but it was a bit unclear what the parking solutions were when we arrived, we found a parking garage around the corner from the hotel that cost 10 Eur per day, we felt the price was ok and it felt secure. The hotel felt old and a bit worn down but it was clean. The room was small, but clean and sufficient for a 1 night stay. Unfortunately the beds were way too uncomfortable and hard and we both woke I feeling sore and not rested. The bed linen and pillows were nice though. The breakfast was very nice, with a good selection of German specialities and also mini pancakes, scrambled eggs and such. We were very happy with the selection. Because of the beds we will unlikely revisit but it’s an ok hotel for a short stay.

The pillows were thin and the bed hard. Difficult to get parking in the parking house next doors. Mostly retired people staying at the hotel. Didn’t see any children at the hotel. The breakfast is average. The hotel could need an update.

The hotel and the location were excellent. The only down fall was the parking issue was only in a public stall for a few and the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. Other then that the hotel was great.

Good walking distance to the center. The breakfast was rather expensive so we are at a bakery for less than half the price of the hotel. Housekeeping knockad on our door before 9 am which we think is way to early. Luckily we were awake and about to go out for breakfast.

Medium experience

It was disappointing that the staff did not speak English at all. This made the extra taxes they apparently needed us to pay very confusing. The bed and pillows were also of low qualify. We would only recommend it for a single night.

Do your research find a better place.

Very dated hotel. The key card system into the room is very poor. I kept having to go downstairs to get it fixed. Had to go down twice one time, then had to use their staff key…helpful but very annoying and time consuming. Is clean but as I said very dated. Staff offer basic service, only one there so can be slow. Location was good right next to station. But is a very small town so a short walk to another hotel is not much of a difference. It was last minute to stay after a long day, so I would do some research and find a better hotel next time. Not worth the price.

Es wurden keine Vorab Informationen berücksichtigt. Obwohl die Reservierung 1 Woche früher als die Anreise erfolgte. Wir hatten z.B.: im Vorfeld darum gebeten / mitgeteilt das wir Allergiebettwäsche wünschen. Dieser Wunsch wurde nicht berücksichtigt und trotz mehreren NACHFRAGEN keine Lösung gefunden, so das wir ohne Bettwäsche schlafen mussten. Dazu kam noch das die Heizung abends immer kälter wurde. Beim Auschecken kamen nur AUSREDEN und kein wirkliches Interesse. So das wir wohl nicht erneut ein weiteres mal dieses Hotel aufsuchen. Es war eine SEHR schlechte Erfahrung.

Für Kurztrips nach Schwerin sehr empfehlenswert. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Der Bahnhof ist direkt vor der Tür. Trotz offenem Fenster haben wir ihn aber nicht bemerkt/gehört. Das Frühstück ließ wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Es war abwechslungsreich und wirklich toll.
