“Excellent stay overall. Our courtyard room was small but had everything we needed. The spa was a standout - loved the outdoor heated pool and sauna. Dinner at the bistro was excellent as was breakfast. It is expensive but worth it for a night or two getaway”

“The rooms was spotless, its a very old building but modern and decorated beautifully, the bathroom was so clean and the shower was nice and powerful. The man was really friendly and the building its self is just amazing, all 5 of us (3 kids ) were impressed. The beds are the comfiest weve ever slept on. 100% would recommend this place . The view is beautiful, the atmosphere is friendly theres fields with cows surrounding it and friendly chickens running around. Nice stay if u love the……

“The location was great, facing towards the city centre while the river is out the back. Breakfasts were delicious with various selections as were the dinners. We went to their cozy bar every evening before dinner. Mostly, I enjoyed the old world atmosphere, especially the lovely sitting room. The staff was very professional yet very friendly. “Having parking was a huge benefit, the high street does get busy so knowing it wasn't going to be an issue is great. The breakfast was lovely, nice amount of choice and the full cooked breakfast was huge! We didn't get a chance to have a coffee in the cafe but the homemade cakes and biscuits looked delicious. Check in and check out was smooth and quick. We were in room 86 and the windowsill needs a bit of maintenance and the room could do with a freshen up but the room was clean and the bed……

“One thing to say it was like a back packers retreat !!! Everything was falling apart ! Back packers everywhere. No fridge or air con or fans in the room. No hot water for 3 days in my bathroom !!! No daily services so 1 towel was supposed to last me for 9 days !!! Photos in advert is not what it is when you get there either !!! Nice soft sofas are not at all what you get there !!! No tv in rooms either !! Place is falling apart !!! Do not book. They told me that Expedia has with……

“Self access = soulless. Didn't see another person. Empty tables in the dining room felt like the Marie Celeste. Breakfast in a bakery and fridge in the room. Very expensive for what it was. Very dim lighting.”

Ausstattung ist sehr gut, sogar ein Kühlschrank befindet sich auf dem Zimmer. Sowohl das Abendessen als auch das Frühstück waren sehr gut! Insgesamt die beste Unterkunft auf unserer Rundreise!”
