The caretaker, Saga, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone in town knows and loves him! Follow the owner’s advice and rent a car to make trips to and from Great Harbor seem less. I hope we will return soon. 」

「I arrived on Tortola with my three teenage children (husband couldn't come) just as Hurricane Erin looked like it was headed directly for the island. It was quite an adventure! Jonathan, the host, felt immediately like family and his primary concern was for our safety and floated the possibility that he would move us to a space that wasn't so high up in the mountains and exposed to the elements. We didn't end up having to do that, but it was nice to know that was an option in case it was...

We walked a lot to both White Bay and Great Harbor. It probably took about 10-15 minutes. The best part was how quiet it was. We could not hear a noise other than the goats and wind. So relaxing.」

The home is perfectly situated on the slope overlooking the ocean, the Caribbean islands in the distance and the occasional ferries motoring by on their way to Road Town. It was immaculately clean and appointed with every little need you might have. The back patio and the hot tub were enjoyed daily and was the perfect place to start with a cup of Coffee and end the day with a cool libation. And then there were the hosts… Absolutely THE MOST hospitable...
