Homey, roomy, well equipped kitchen (the knives are even sharp). Comfy beds and plenty of room. The location is great, I could sit on the window seat all day and enjoy the view.

We loved the house! The ocean views were amazing! The kitchen was great, fully stocked and fun to cook in. Close to trails and 10 min walk to the ocean. The hot tub was great and relaxing. So happy that it was dog-friendly too. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend this home, either for a large family, or even just a romantic weekend for 2 (plus a doggy!).

I wanted a peaceful place to escape for a long weekend. The kitchen is fabulous and the place is so spacious and has lovely views. This house was perfect. I would highly recommend it!

This house is great for families: has a really well supplied kitchen, comfortable furniture and beds. Plenty of space to spread out. There are 4 bedrooms. The 2 upstairs are lofts so noise can travel. Great family room for watching movies, and ping pong & foosball in the garage.

We stayed over the 4th July week 2023. Great house, comfy beds, bonus 'family room' area and very well stocked kitchen, plus in a very quiet location but still easy to access the bluff trail. Oh - and doggy friendly too!

We absolutely loved the home, the location, everything. The rooms were comfortable, and the photos were very accurate. The kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed to cook our meals. And we were very lucky that the weather was perfect, so we were able to take advantage of the great walking path down to the beach. I would definitely recommend this house to a group.

Booked this beautiful home as a weekend getaway to propose to my now Fianceé in Sea Ranch, a magical place that is special to us and our families who grew up going here. This home provided the perfect spot for our families to join together and enjoy a relaxing weekend to celebrate and relax along the coast. The home has every amenity needed, and more. Just a short walk to beach trails, and beautiful views right at your front door, we will be making this spot a yearly visit, as it made a memorable weekend that much better!

Beautiful spot in the universe. Gorgeous views and fully equipped home. Great for families, our ranged from 1 year to 75 years. We happened to be there when seals were birthing and the weather was perfect.. the home was clean and well furnished and our only suggestions are 2 real chairs for the dining table ( rattan ones are breaking and too low for the table) and a note about location of plates that we didnt find easily,. The hot tub was marvelous and we had beautiful trail walks and enjoyed your home and our time there immenseley.

We truly enjoyed this house. The kitchen area is all new with everything you need to cook a lovely meal for your friends and family. There are two separate living areas, which was perfect for us. We lounged and watched for whales in the main living area, and we played music and games in the second living area. The garage has a very nice ping-pong table and bicycles to borrow for riding around the area. There are lots of books and games for kids and adults. The hot tub is clean and nice. The two upstairs bedrooms have skylights, with are a positive or a negative depending on your sleep needs. Overall, this is one of our favorite houses.

A very comfortable home in a good location. The furnishings in the 2 large living areas are attractive and comfortable. The family room includes bookshelves of games, books and movies and plenty of seating. The house has good blue water views from the deck, hot tub, great room and master bedroom. The kitchen is large with plenty of counter space. The kitchen is the best stocked of any home we've rented over several decades. The house is about a 10 minute walk from Shell beach. An outdoor shower is perfect for kids and dogs. The owners make available a ping pong table, bikes and other sporting equipment in the garage. Everything in the house functioned properly. The exterior of the house was recently refreshed with new stain on the wood shingles. The interior of the house shows wear and tear, not surprising since this is a family and dog friendly rental. We had a lovely stay and would return.

The house was spacious, kitchen fantastic, close walk to beaches, access to 3 recreation centers with swimming pools, tennis, pickleball and one rec center with sauna! We enjoyed the large jacuzzi located on one of two large decks, not to mention the ping pong table in garage and flying kites from the large decks. We were just minutes away from Gualala where we visited the art museum located in a beautiful grove of redwoods. The house is a wonderful place to enjoy the great outdoors, have family meals and just hang out. The second living room was filled with games galore and loads of books. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thank you to the owners for allowing us to enjoy your terrific home, a true getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This house is really great. We have stayed in Sea Ranch for Labor Day for 3 years now and this was by far the best house. Clean, fully stocked, and our favorite feature - the 2 living rooms to allow the adults and kids to hang out separately. The location is very proximal to the beach and the view fantastic. We also appreciated being able to bring our dog. Our only feedback is that the checkout time of 10:00 feels very early when trying to pack up from a beach vacation - especially with teenagers! We also did not appreciate the hidden host fees - pet, hot tub, resort, etc. That should really just be included in the price vs. added on after.

this is a gorgeous, large property with a full view of the ocean and only one house, which is hidden by high bushes, next door: so all open space looking out to the ocean and to the south and southeast. The ocean view kitchen/family room, dining room are roomy and comfortable, and the large den/tv room at the other end of the home offers another space for people, so 6-8 people can really spread out. All beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen has literally everything you need, including a large pantry of spices, sugar, flour, coffee filters, baking and cooking utensils. The hot tub is large and very clean with an unobstructed view of the ocean. There is an enclosed, lovely garden filled with flowers where one can read and soak up the sunshine and peacefulness. We saw lots of birds, a couple of big rabbits, deer and a fox out in the beautiful field off the large deck. There is a path right off the deck that connects to the trail down to Shell Beach, about 6-10 minute walk, where we saw mother seals with their pups. With 4 bedrooms, large kitchen/family room, dining room, den/tv room, 3 bathrooms, extensive deck and hot tub, Cadwalader House is quite expensive, but well worth it for a large family vacation, and I know we will come back again.

The location is perfect! Easy access to beaches, trails, and recreation centers! It is also just a short drive into Gualala for restaurants and groceries. The house was big enough for our family of 7 and two dogs to sleep and relax comfortably.
