Ocean Bluff Get Away

We’ve stayed at this house several times, because of its location, cleanliness and because it’s size works perfectly for our whole family. It has great views of the ocean. We also love that it has a hot tub. Plus there are so many things our family can do nearby.

Wonderful house!

We loved our stay here. The views are awesome. It's location is excellent, so close to the park. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, the kitchen is excellent, very well appointed. We will definitely come back!

Captivating Ocean Views

We loved the closeness to the ocean and its great views. The home worked well for our daughter and her family and my husband and I. It gave each of us our own area plus a great living room/dining/kitchen area for the family as a whole to gather. The hot tub was wonderful and loved the fenced yard. The house was clean, well equips and comfortable.

Unsurpassed beauty, inside and outside. Right at the bluff, with a panoramic ocean view, sounds of surf crashing, serene quiet when the doors are closed, perfectly organized place top to bottom. The furniture and decor are classic and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is great for cooking. Yes, there are ants, but very few if food is kept in the fridge. I would enthusiastically sign up to stay there again if ever I get the chance. It's the quintessence of Sea Ranch.

Beautiful Home ! Beautiful views !

Home was completely comfortable, perfect for two families, children and dogs. The gated yard was perfect for dogs and children. The views of the Ocean was outstanding from the front room and bedroom . Access to the garage was a bonus, made unpacking for our 10 day stay great. Be careful , the stairs were a little steep. Although, the “ant” situation was known when booking it was a problem. With the cooking for Thanksgiving and children made it almost impossible to keep them out of the food and kitchen counters.

What a location!

The location was perfect, right at the end of the bluff trail with open views to watch and hear the waves crash. We really enjoyed the fireplace with ample supply of wood and the fenced backyard for the dogs was fantastic. The kitchen was as well equipped as any I have rented, and also had a range of firm-soft beds to choose from based on your preferences. 5-star accommodation. However I deducted 1 star for a year long ant issue that was disclosed via signage at arrival rather than in the listing when making our choice between multiple Sea Ranch homes. After choosing, I saw that the booking confirmation added a note about the potential presence of pests in ocean areas, but never disclosed that there was a current known issue. Potential renters should have the opportunity to weigh that along with all other features. Every other aspect of the house and rental experience was great!

Loved the bluff!

Exceptional ocean views and access to trails. Thoughtful amenities and cozy vibe. Very clean and well outfitted home. Vacasa staff were terrific to work with when we contacted them regarding a maintenance issue (heat went out, so only a 4 star rating for this stay). We really appreciated their responsiveness on a holiday weekend.

Great place for peeps with pups

Wonderful home. Very dog friendly. Awesome views and the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks and the beautiful clear star filled nights is something that is good for the soul. Right next door to hiking trails and the state park. Would not hesitate to come back again.

Lovely Ocean Front Location

We have stayed at this home several times. Works well for our little dog, but we bring a plastic gate to keep her off the stairs. Quiet location literally at the end of Sea Ranch and on the beach trail. Great views.

Amazing House. Will be back!

Had a great stay at this house. Location is stunning and kitchen is extremely well stocked. Will be back and definitely would recommend! Only issue was when trying to contact the property manager (Vacasa) prior to our stay. They did not respond to my messages through VRBO and eventually I tracked down an 800 number to call them. Was on hold for a while before speaking to someone and when I finally did they told me it was not their responsibility to respond to messages through VRBO, which was weird and a little annoying. Once we got to the house, everything was fantastic though.

Excellent home and beautiful location.

We have multiple stays here, and hopefully many more. The home is very well maintained and furnished. Pretty much everything you need, except for your food. We cooked almost every meal there for 12 days, except for a couple dinners out. Surf Market just down the road has great quality food & produce, and just about anything else you may need. WiFi is excellent, and the beds are comfortable. You will not be disappointed!

Great Bluff Location

We loved the location of this house at the far end of Sea Ranch, right on the bluff trail. Well-equipped house. Good deck, nice spa, good layout. Everything works fine. House is starting to show wear, but not unpleasant, especially for a house that allowed our dog to come with us. The only hitch is that we had ants every day, all day. Constant annoyance.

Beautiful location, house not so much

Sea Ranch is a beautiful area, all eight miles of it. This home is in a perfect location, right on the edge of a bluff. However, the house has seen better days. We paid for a ten day stay but left three days early due to the conditions in the house. In the immediate days leading up to our arrival I received an email from Vacasa saying they were getting the house ready for our stay, cleaning windows and making sure everything was just right. When we arrived, the windows were not cleaned, in fact, several of the windows and sliding doors have failed and you couldn’t see out of them very well. Then half way into our stay, the automatic garage door came off its track rendering the door halfway open and unable to go up or down. That same day, the master bath shower door came off its track and couldn’t be opened or closed! The local Vacasa handyman was able to fix the shower door but nothing could be done to the garage door until the homeowner arrived after our departure. There is only one thermostat in the house so the downstairs stays very cold unless you turn up the thermostat but that makes it unbearably warm upstairs. The hardwood floors are very worn especially in the dining room due to the cafe chairs around the table being moved in and out. Scuffs and gashes on the walls are numerous. On the positive side, the kitchen is extremely well equipped! Nice linens too! House needs some TLC.
