Gorgeous Home, Would Stay Again

Everything we needed and more

Great location. Ocean views galore. Able to access the walking trail right by the house. Bring any groceries possible with you as the 2 local grocery stores are a bit pricey.

Beautiful Home!

We loved all of the amenities and the overall experience of this wonderful accommodation! We have stayed in many homes all over The Sea Ranch and this was a standout. It really is hard to find a well taken care of home these days though. There were just a few little details of upkeep that gave it a 4 star rating for us.

Fantastic home

We have stayed at many houses on the Sea Ranch over the years and this house is by far one of the best. The kitchen was extremely well appointed which made cooking a dream. The layout and furnishings of the house is very nice. Lots of attention to detail making for a very comfortable stay and a great location. Would definitely stay again. Da Yaya House Makes for a Wonderful Sea Ranch Getaway

Our stay at the Da Yaya house was amazing! The home was perfect for 2 couples. The amenities, appliances, and furniture were all high-grade. We loved cooking in the beautiful kitchen. It had everything a chef or aspiring chef could need. And when we needed an adventure, we were only steps away from the coast trail. You could not ask for a better home in a better location. Thank you to Ray and Rain for hosting us in their amazing home. We cannot wait to return.

beautiful house in great location

I can't say enough good things about this beautiful home. It was beautiful and comfortable. The layout was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids. Everything from the thoughtful decor and comfortable beds in the two primary suites, to the fully stocked kitchen (including a sharp chef knife - a rarity in rental homes!), to the books and games for kids, to the incredible view and proximity to the cliffs, was ideal. Being located on a cull de sac with a small parking area was especially nice for kids to run around play catch. Would definitely return.

Gorgeous home with all the amenities and then some

This is undoubtedly the most well-appointed home I've ever stayed in at Sea Ranch. The hosts used it and cared for it as their home and it really shows. The kitchen has all the appliances and then some. The furniture is comfortable and welcoming. The courtyard with the hot tub and outdoor fireplace is just amazing. We had a wonderful time here and will definitely try to stay here again. Thank you to the hosts for all of the thought and care you have put into this house. We were particularly happy to be able to use the EV charger on our two cars. It took me a minute to find it (in the garage) and it appropriately doesn't work during the peak afternoon hours but it worked perfectly and was very appreciated.

Fantastic home!

You can see the care the owners put into this home. The decor and kitchen were beyond what is typically seen in a rental. Also, the view was better than advertised. We had a multigenerational group, so the layout provided just enough space to be together, but also great separation. Despite a few complaints about how some things were managed, we would stay here again. The entry directions we received were incorrect. We were given the correct code, but directions for a lock box (which there happens to be one near the front door causing confusion). We tried it for several minutes and tried calling a few of the numbers provided by management, but we're unable to get in contact with anyone. Eventually we realized the miscommunication and were able to gain entry. There is no access to a closet in the master bedroom or to the closet just outside of it. There are some nice drawers, but if you need to hang something, be prepared to do it in one of the other bedrooms on the other side of the house. A little awkward when all of the rooms are full. Finally, BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS! You are provided with ONE towel per guest. We asked for more and were told this is their policy and no more would be provided. We found this a little odd and would have been fine had we known to bring some. I'm sure it is for conservation, but having to do frequent small loads of laundry also seems wasteful and the last thing I wanted to be doing on my vacation.

The Kitchen set up was great and the ocean view was wonderful. The house was beautiful and felt like home. There were a lot of spider webs, and I would have your cleaning crew clean above and below cabinets, especially where the TV is. Also, there were partial screens or torn ones. But otherwise, a beautiful stay

Best Sea Ranch vacation home

Best host, great location, love all the decorations and the amenities. Good quality kitchen appliances and cooking utensils are provided so it’s easy for us to cook our own meals. Will book this place if we revisit sea ranch.

This is a beautiful Sea Ranch property. It has been completely redone on the inside, the kitchen is amazing, everything is top notch. Big TV and great sound system, very relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely return.

Beautiful amazing home

This beautifully designed and appointed room was a joy to stay in for our week at Sea Ranch. Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with easy access to the bluff trail, we had a wonderful time relaxing in this home with the privacy of the hot tub within the fenced courtyard and large and comfortable rooms. The kitchen was huge with plenty of space to cook while others enjoyed movies on the big screen TV. We hope we will get a chance to return again to this place soon.

Modern love

Lovely house and well appointed. I had a little difficulty prying my boys away from the 75" TV, but once I did we had quick easy access to the trails. Gualala is a short trip north if you need supplies etc... Please lock you car and don't leave food in your car, The Sea Ranch is loaded with raccoons and we found muddy foot prints all over our vehicle..

Nice House, Nice Location, Nice View

Pros: House very well kept with comfortable furniture and amenities. The Sea Ranch is a cool destination in the summer with lots of trails throughout. The kitchen was fully stocked to cook - the knives were share which is often a rarity in rentals. All as advertised for a nice stay. Cons: The house is high tech, but not everything worked as advertised and Vacasa didn't respond to my email. Two most notable annoyances were in the master bedroom: (1) The house is fitted with Nest Smoke Detectors that have light up motion sensors (in all rooms). They are so sensitive that they'd come in if you rolled over in bed, which occasionally would wake us up at night. The Nest system is programmable and the motion sensors can be turned off - strongly recommend the owner just turn them off in the two bedrooms. (2) The blackout blinds in the master bedroom were on some kind of electronic system that didn't work. We tried everything and even emailed Vacasa to no response. The second set of blinds were semi-transparent and not sufficient for the room. If both of these simple to fix items were addressed, it would be 5 Stars!

Relaxing, beautiful, peaceful retreat

5 stars! My wife and I had a wonderful week in front of the fireplace enjoying views of the ocean, deer and rabbits. Special attention to comfort in the master bathroom was a plus. The hot tub worked well. (Being in our 70s, we would have benefitted from directions for the operation of all the controls on the tv. Most of all, we hope to return!
