「Amazing service and beautiful grounds, but rooms need an update.
The hotel environment is absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. I also loved how functional and convenient the room amenities were—everything we needed was right there.
However, I did notice that the facilities are getting a bit dated. If the hotel could invest in some modern upgrades, it would be a 10/10 experience!

「I have stayed at this property before and it is a little worse for wear for sure but still very clean and presentable. I know it's early in the season so that may be the reason but I did not find a lot of staff around to guide or ask questions of. I also realized heading into my stay that it was the school vacation week so as one would expect - lots of children running around!」

「We were not taken care of vis-a-vis check-in. We had to track down the maid to get some answers. We had to get a key from a neighboring restaurant. We tried to call the front desk, we tried to text and ask for the key code to get into our room and nobody ever responded not even after we checked out. Thank God for the maid Susan. The room was shabby: carpet stained, old sink in bathroom weird old shower head. No office to get ice. Still no contact from office. Very unprofessional.」

「Pros: Room was clean and staff was very welcoming.
Cons: Manager was not accommodating at all. Communication about the trip was poor. If you want to get real info from this place, you must dig and find their local number or you will not get correct info and the manager will not approve any credits for downgrades due to incorrect info.
