"We book the Majestic for one night as they had over 8+ on Expedia. Well, we arrived at reception. All went well until we were told the lift is out of action and being repaired. Which we later found out is the same story they have been telling guests for months. The very small room was embarrassing. "This is a shared bathroom with at least 6 other rooms which is unsuitable if you are travelling with an elderly parent. There is also No Parking despite this being advertised. The property did not reply to me about address and parking until the day AFTER my stay. Prooery did not reply to Expedia when we needed urgent support. We had to find our own alternative accommodation and still no resolution or contact from the property!!"

"Only stayed one night but found all staff were exceptionally helpful and professional. Our room was furnished in a modern stylish fashion and was spotlessly clean. The view from our balcony was exactly as one would wish ~ panoramic span of Eastbourne seafront. Whilst being extremely close to the beach and sea, the double glazed windows and sliding door were so effective that there was virtually no noise entering the room. Would not hesitate to recommend The View Hotel to friends and will certainly visit again. Thank you very much for a lovely, relaxing short stay!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
