Great view and location

Perfect house to relax and enjoy the sound of the ocean. It was in a perfect location to walk on the beach or walk into town!

Amazing location and property

Such amazing views from the property and gorgeous interior, especially the upper level! The bluff trails start directly from the back door leading to the beach. Note that there are 2 sets of stairs - one directly leading up to the main level from the front door and another to go to the upper level.

This house was everything we were hoping for and more! The view was amazing! Nice walk down beach to Broadway for some shopping, restaurant and fun activities. Love the large kitchen and comfy beds. Will be back again :)!

Nice location but needs some updates.

Traveled from East Coast to stay with family. Oven didn't work, knew ahead of time. Linens for bedding and towels are older. Could use updated pots and pans as they are older. There was a box for roaster oven but we didn't see it. Lots of cobwebs. Bedding also needs updating. Overall great location and view.

AMAZING Beach Front House!

This house far surpassed my expectations. It was more than enough space and being able to take a step off the patio and walk right into the sand was so amazing. The view is gorgeous and even better from upstairs. I will definitely be coming back with my family next time!

Spacious property, perfect for groups & families!

This beachfront property was absolutely stunning! Relaxing and spacious accommodations with so much room! Multiple levels allowed parties to rest, go to the beach, cook meals, and visit without being crowded. The tidepools on the beach here are STUNNING with green anemones and starfish that are easy to access right on the beach. Each member of our party stated that this was the only beachfront property we will ever recommend. It was that good!

Beach house

The house was very nice very spacious. My only complaint would be TVs to small and needs more wash rags & bath towels There’s only four of us there and they only had four wash rags so in the house says asleep six so there wouldn’t be enough for everybody

Oven doesn't work, neither do HDMI ports

Be warned: the oven does not work ... at all! Either plan on using the cook top or going out to eat. And fo not planning on being a fire stick or other streaming device, the HDMI ports on the TV do not work. It's too bad because the location is great and the house is nice.

Nice getaway

Great location and view. Home is cozy and has plenty of room. Some older items could use replacing, the house could use a deep clean, and the electronics need attention and instructions. Overall happy and would recommend.

Beach trip

This is the second time staying at this property. Needs good deep cleaning, especially bedding (not sheets). Outside of building is showing wear, especially decks. Other than that, location sells this house.

Wonderful house!

We absolutely loved this house! We will definitely stay here again in the future. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the upstairs living area was the real stunner! The ocean views were fantastic. Very peaceful and quiet. My only suggestion is that the cookware needs to be updated, the pots and pans are all old and there weren’t standard cooking utensils. Also, there were no Kleenex anywhere and the toilet paper was so rough for blowing noses. Other than that, it was perfect, and we had a great time.

Thee P-E-R-F-E-C-T Beach House

This is our 3rd visit to the Oregon Coast and this house was far and away the best! It is very spacious with large bedrooms and bathrooms. The upstairs great room had a lot of sitting/lounging options and a mini fridge/cold bar area. There were upstairs and downstairs fireplaces. They have literally thought of nearly everything. The bedding was good quality with extra pillows available. Toiletries were Dove products and there was plenty of good towels. Just a quick stroll out the back to the beach. Property was well manicured and made for a relaxing place to return to after exploring. Thanks!

Location

Location of the property is good. One block past the end of the promenade. Very quiet area. View from upstairs was good. 400 yard walk to the beach. Lower level view obstructed by dune foliage. One bed was comfortable, one bed old but ok, and one bed hard as a rock. Kitchen was well equipped to cook about anything. Overall it was a good stay. The home is in need of minor repairs and a thorough inspection to fix everything properly.

Nice view, but

Beautiful place, windows clean, great view. There were a few things that needed attention. Both coffeemakers were broken, one fireplace not working, and bed blankets and pillows needed washing. If they fixed those things I’d be back in a minute.

Not great

The only really good thing about this property is the location/view. Pretty much everything else is old, worn, dated, and overused. Furnishings and linens look like they were acquired at a thrift store ten years ago. There were two fireplaces that didn't work and two broken coffee pots. Looked very clean but found a couple spiders in corners and empty beer bottles in a closet. We moved an end table and it was clear no one had bothered to vacuum there. No outdoor furniture and decks and stairs need attention. Reached out to host first night then never heard back again. Do not recommend.

Great house and location!

Spacious (seriously huge!) house with beautiful views and easy access to the beach. Clean and the beds were very comfortable. House is dated but cozy. Parking area is torn up and the caution tape did not make for a great first impression. Kitchen supplies are old and unorganized but worked for our needs. We would definitely stay there again IF we stay in Seaside. Seaside seems to begetting run down and sketchy.

Perfect location and views. Upstairs is very cool. Comforters were warn out, kitchen supplies lacking. (No spatula, frying pans in bad shape). Cupboards and drawers a bit dirty. Furniture outdated and worn. With updating, this would be an incredible place.

Stay at seaside

The house was nice but needs a lot of work. Needs paint, the bedding is way out dated and old, the windows were filthy. Hard to enjoy the view with dirty windows. The oven doesn’t work and only 3 burners on the stove works. We did enjoy the stay but it could have been much better. In the end we loved the beach and Astoria. The house needs a lot of help.
