Pretty cozy little room, property kind of set up like a mini hostel. Comfty bed. Probably could use more care and preperation for restroom sharing situation (maybe clothes hooks, shower soap dish or shelf, shower spash guard or splash mat shower mat, and extra TP and cleaners). Otherwise house in good clean and tidy condition. Freeway nearby and inbound air traffic overhead but considering its a major metropolitan area it was a relatively quiet neighborhood.

Check in info wasn't actually clear that the lock boxes were outside each room. The numbers on key codes were very hard to read. The house is noisy due to lack of carpets and fabrics. There is no place to sit except at a kitchen table or your bed. There are no tv's. The worst was having inconsiderate guests that left dirty dishes and food debris in sinks! Would not stay there again.

Just a heads up to others. I didn’t realize there was no air conditioning (my fault for not checking) so I downgrade comfort level when Seattle heat is in the high 80s or above. There was a fan and window opens, but it opened directly onto rear access walk way, so not very secure or privacy feeling. I would not stay in hot weather again. Also, no TV. Not as important, but worth knowing.

Living up to the hype
Clean, comfortable, and location are the biggest pros of staying here. I had never stayed in a place like this so I was hesitant with there not being someone on duty. However, the texts received after reserving were so easy to follow. It had been mentioned in another review that your stay will only as quiet as your neighbors will allow. This would be the only downside as this is absolutely the case. However there was a fan provided that served as excellent white noise that drowned out anything outside of the room. There seems to be a lot of care put into keeping everything clean, which is greatly appreciated. I wouldn’t recommend going here if you have kids, only because kids tend to be more noisy, so it’s more out of consideration of others if nothing else. But it was a refreshing place to crash and recharge. I would stay here again.

This property was a jewel. Close to Pikes Market and the the piers were about 20 minute away. Quiet neighborhood and the facility was clean, bright and open. Kitchen available for cooking and eating.

It worked great for what it is: a multi-room property and a place to sleep. It was exactly as advertised. One factor worth considering is people show up and leave at all hours and not all are quiet.

This is by far the best place I have stayed in Seattle. The host is very accommodating & when issues with other guests happened the host was very quick to respond and take care of the situation. I’m very pleased with the host.

Check in and out was very simple, got a text message with clear instructions. Parking was convenient, right in front of the guest house. It is like renting an Airbnb, no cleaning or new towels during stay. If you have quiet guests in the surrounding rooms you will have a good stay.

If you are sensitive to light be prepared
Check in instructions were easy. My only complaint is that their is a TON of light coming in through the venetian blinds and under the door. The light outside Room 5 windo is so bright you could almost read a book with the lights off in the room. Also the lights in the hallway are so bright that the 1 inch gap under the door allows a ton more light coming into the room from the other side. Is all this light necessary!?!? Thankfully I had an eye mask, white noise on my phone, and ear plugs. There was noise, some singing in the hallway at 6AM. The bed was comfortable enough and everything seemed clean. I consider my self a near professional level travel sleeper. I am prepared but if I wasn't that would have been a tough night.

I really liked this place to stay and it’s in a perfect area for access to both downtown and good suburban shopping. The property felt very clean and well taken care of and the self check-in process worked well. The only part that I found a little unsettling was when I walked in the front door a person who said that he rented a room there opened his room door and greeted me. I wasn’t sure if he was a manager or just a renter. The first thing he said was something about him being allowed to smoke outside the building and it smelled a bit like weed. As a first impression it left me questioning the professionalism and safety of the place especially since it is not a commercial establishment and it’s in a quiet neighborhood setting. It made me wonder if I would recommend it if my wife were staying there alone. Granted, the interaction was friendly, it was just a little odd that the first topic of conversation was about smoking, which was irrelevant to me or anything I was doing. It gave me the impression that he was trying to explain the odor or excuse something he was doing. Also, I got a text that there was a gift waiting for me. When I went to my room there was an odd dollar store package of happy birthday items inside. Was that my gift? It would have been better to have no gift and not be confused by package Bottom line: very good experience and I would stay there again. It wasn’t plush, but met my expectations of being a well taken care of place to stay.

I knew going in this was going to be bare bones, but it was really spartan! No clock, no TV, no washcloth (two towels worked fine), no rug on the floor. Fortunately, I just needed a clean, quiet, safe spot to sleep and this was great for the price--with Wi-Fi included. There is a shared kitchen with lots of space and appliances.
