Was a great week of relaxation, great food and great sights
The cottage was cozy but it was just the two of us. The location was spectacular, right on the beach. Great way to wake up seeing the water or star gazing at night. Would love to return again!

Sebago lake getaway
Minimum amenities; window a/c was dirty, box fan was dirty...got a bit warm but could not use these items. Kuerig coffee maker would be nice, ironing board was also dusty.
I believe a deep clean is needed. However, outside was comfortable and the lake view was awesome.
Very clean and well stocked. Lots of storage. Beautiful site, right on beach. I would have preferred curtains to block sunrise, but that's totally my preference. Cute little store within walking distance and also a bar/restaurant
The place was super clean. Had everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable! You can’t beat the private beach and view. We loved watching the boats. We’ll definitely be back. With 2 additional rentals adjacent to this one I’m hoping to bring the kids and grandkids next time. Thank you for a relaxing few days!
If you want to be on the Beach and walk into the lake this is for you. I have a walking disability and it was a joy to sit on the deck and access the lake so close to the deck. Plenty of places to eat. Very friendly and helpful owners!
We’re going back next year

Cosey and Rustic on the Lake
We had a great experience at the cottage on the lake. The access to the lake is fantastic! The deck has a lovely couch and plenty of chairs, and the Adirondack chairs on the sand are so comfortable. Being able to walk directly onto the beach and hear the waves as you fall asleep is a real treat. The cottage is rustic was clean and has the essentials. Bedding and linens are very nice and bed was comfy. We had a couple of issues with heat and electric when we arrived, but the Host sent someone over immediately to take care of them. (A gfi had tripped and we didn't realize where it was.) The weather the week we were there was overcast, but we still enjoyed our time. I was reminded of the cottage my great aunt had at the shore we would visit 'back in the day'.

Great location! But not so great at 'as advertised'
This 'great for two' cottage (too small for 4!) is in a wonderful location with comfortable furnishings. Clearly, many guests have had much fun here. Go early in the season to enjoy all the area has to offer. We visited 9/30 - 10-4, too late in the season for this area though we would not have known that ahead of time. (We live on Cape Ann in MA and every fun resource is still open.) Many activities on beautiful Lake Sebago close at Labor Day despite leaf peeping season just beginning early Oct.
We would not have stayed here had we known the following BEFORE we arrived:
- Cottage is DARK even though the pictures look VERY LIGHT. (The bedroom IS light,
lovely and comfortable!)
- Fireplace and gas room heaters didn't work (froze the first night, didn't see the small
room heater we could have plugged in and moved around the cottage. )
- Adirondack chairs were no longer on the beach
- Kayak was nowhere in sight
- Picnic table was folded up . . .
With a little more upfront directness about 'what is and is not' and in-visit follow through this could have been a nice experience. If you go in season, there's every reason you could like this sweet cottage; it's location is fabulous. We will look elsewhere.
The cottage was cozy and clean great waking up and going to sleep with the subtle waves coming in beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the lake great deck to hang out and relax and it's right on the beach so convenient lake was a little cold for us but we did manage to get in the lake on day and floated on our rafts it was a great relaxing day .we would definitely stay here again.
What a wonderful place to stay! Our daughter works at the restaurant across the way so it was such a perfect place for us to stay! Thank you!! We hope to come back for a longer stay!!

Much needed vacation at Sebago
We love Sebago Lake and especially the East Sebago area. Beach in front of this small camp is nice - great views and swimming. Deck is nice though not very private - think condo deck. Not at all private. Biggest complaint- owner had construction going on the entire time within 20 feet of this camp. Access from the parking space (there is only one space) to the cottage was awful. We literally had to scramble through an active construction area to get to our vehicle.
This cottage is right on the sandy beaches of Sebago Lake. There are stunning sunsets and sunrises. There is also a comfortable deck with a firepit. The bed is very comfortable!
We are in Maine enjoying fall colors. What a great location to drive north, south, east and west to see all the amazing sights! I loved coming back to this cottage and enjoying sitting on the beach during sunset, one evening there was a full rainbow over the lake. We had an amazing stay!
It was the first time vacationing on Sebago Lake and loved that we were able to have a cottage right on the water. It was truly a relaxing vacation and seeing that our cruise cancelled for the same week it made it even better. The owner of this property was there for your needs. Thanks Mike and Melanie. We will be back
