We are parents who brought our two daughters and two of their friends to Arizona for their college spring break. This house was perfect for us. Everything is clean and new, and the views are amazing. Highly recommended!
We cooked almost all our meals in the house. It has a well- equipped kitchen, and a dining table that seats eight. The grocery store, Clark's, was four minutes away, and they had everything we needed, even with two vegetarians. We were able to get our own streaming services on the TV, and the beds were very comfortable. It was especially nice to have a washer and dryer in the house, because it meant we could pack light.
The neighborhood is lovely—safe and quiet with nice neighbors. It's a great place to go for a walk or run. If you are visiting during spring break times, it is a big plus to be in the Village of Oak Creek rather than Sedona proper due to the traffic in Sedona (unless you plan to walk everywhere). Oak Creek is smaller, of course, and doesn't have all the shopping, but it has good restaurants, a gym and a yoga studio, plus Clark's Grocery, which also has a pharmacy. That was everything we needed.
The purpose of our trip was hiking, rock-climbing and visiting cliff dwellings. There are so many nearby hikes, that it was hard to choose. I recommend avoiding the most famous ones during spring break as they are very crowded. We also went up to the Grand Canyon, which was terrific, but the accommodations were not as nice as this house!
