Unfortunately when we got to the hotel, it is no longer called Super 8 and the reservation that I made I made in March was not transferred over to the new hotel owners. So there was NO reservation for us - luckily they had room.
Please change over the name and info to the new hotel to alleviate any challenges.
Our reservation was lost during a change in ownership and we did not get the room we had reserved. The staff were generally not very helpful if they were even available. The condition of the property was generally poor and for the cost of the room we were certainly not happy.
The room was freezing cold. My children had to get extra layers on and get under covers. Overnight, we could hear people upstairs; loud talking, laughing, walking around. During regular hours - we completely understand. After 11pm, it’s excessive.
Absolutely love this place! Clean and tidy rooms! Amazing owners and staff! Extremely handy being able to get onto the snowmobile trails right on the property! Able to have a bonfire on site also! Highly recommended!

Out of date. But very clean. Pet friendly. No control over your own room temperature. I ordered dinner of wings and pizza and it cost a lot of a microwaveable pizza that was hard and a few chicken wings
First of all we found a price for quite a bit less so we called and spoke with some jerk who would not match the price at all we gave him the website and all the proper information that he would need and continuously was rude, we even told him we would be there
There was lots of confusion about the rooms we booked. I booked 4 rooms with garden view but we were originally given court yard side. We were able to switch which was great.
However the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired about. One of our family members had only 1 clean towel in the room, leftover food in a dirty fridge and no cups. Bathrooms/tubs were also not clean, and some are in need of re- doing. Both pools were closed even though we were told the one indoor was open.
On the upside, the beds were very comfy, and it was lovely sitting out overlooking the gardens. There was a playground, Bbq for use and even a fire pit to have a lovely fire if so desired

Covid-19 stay, just okay
This hotel is dated and needs much TLC. The beds were hard. The restaurant was open even with Covid-19 but had a very limited menu. It was okay that we didn't have to go elsewhere to eat. The free breakfast consisted of a granola type bar, a fruit cup and a juice, packaged in a bag, to go. Better than nothing I guess.
It was ok ... Check in and out was quick and easy.
Booked 2 rooms and at 4.30 one of the rooms was not ready or cleaned when we got to the room.
The room that was ready was clean but there was a bit of mould in the bathroom. The room door facing the outside did not close properly and had to be closed with force.
Beds were not the most comfortable.
Was to stay for 2 days on a tour of the city. This hotel was way over priced . It is really run down and after 30 years of hotels, my Number one worst motel ever. It smelled , the hallways, room, pool all smelled of Mould and who knows what else. I would not recommend this for anyone!
Overpriced motel room. Bathroom is depressing, the exhaust fan sounds like a bomber. Not enough outlets, had to unplug the bar fridge to plug in the coffee-maker. No outlet beside the bed, had to charge phones in the bathroom.
The check in was extremely fast and easy and the location is great. However the rooms are overpriced and the place is disgusting. An obvious bug problem. The room smelled terrible. The room was dirty, there were holes and stains on the bedding. The blow dryer smelled like it was on fire after immediately turning it on, and it didn't even work. No way to control the temperature in the room. And just overall it feels like an extremely old run down greasy motel.
Assumed that with Covid all would be cleaned and disinfected but found the coffee maker still uncleaned from last customer. Had the old coffee grounds still in the coffee maker. Makes me wonder how well the rest of the place was wiped down
everybody that works on their team.. whether it’s the kitchen/bar, or the front desk, or owners, they are all super friendly, and nice. my boyfriend, and i have been a quite a few hotel and air bnb’s in the last month, this one is our favourite by far. highly recommended.
The staff were rude, i was charged for 3 nights but only reseved and stayed for 2 nights. I still have not been refunded for the extra night charge. The pool was disgusting and the pump wasnt working. The "breakfast" was dry cereal with no milk and expired waffle mix. Do not reccommend.
