"The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. Staff asked how often we wanted the room serviced - this was great to offer (we selected no service), reflects awareness of environmental impact of doing unnecessary cleaning and laundry. Access to the building: there's a poorly designed collection of steps and a ramp leading to the entrance doors, but not a single railing to aid in climbing the steps. Unmarked/unpainted concrete made it difficult to see the edge of the top step, anyone with poor vision (or distracted by kids) could miss that top step and take a tumble. No working ice machine!"

"The room was spacious, staff were friendly, and the amenities were very convenient. The gym has good quality equipment that I enjoyed using every morning of my stay. My daughter loved swimming in the pool and it was great to be able to use the guest laundry to wash and dry our clothes before packing to come home. Unfortunately, the sheets were polyester instead of cotton and our room was only tidied once by housekeeping during the week that we stayed at the hotel. After houskeeping visited, I had to call down for a pillow change as the housekeeping staff had not only put a dirty pillow case on one of the beds, but also switched out one of my pillows for a pillow with feathers. Thankfully, the night staff was very responsive and brought back a non-feather pillow when I informed him that I'm allergic to bird feathers. The daily breakfasts offered a good number of selections including vegetarian options and non-dairy milk. It was also great to have a full-sized fridge in our room and a kitchenette for when we preferred to eat something else. Overall, we enjoyed our week. If your priorities are convenience and relaxation, I'd recommend staying there."

"You can tell that this place was pretty awesome back in the day, tennis courts, Mini putt, indoor squash and basketball, pools (only the indoor was functional during our stay), but time has had her way with it. The rooms have been partially renovated and my husband said the bed was ok, but didn't provide the right kind of support for me and had a horrible sleep. Overall, this place is old, but they're fixing it up nicely, the rooms are clean and the price was fair."

"The hotel is close to the downtown area. The room we had was on the second floor and looks recently renovated compared to the first floor rooms. The hotel is dated but is clean and the water pressure is good in the shower. There is an ev charger(tesla home charger) . Unfortunately someone was plugged into it from when we arrived at 3 until we left the next day. We had counted on being able to charge as the supercharger in town is v1 and not compatible with non Tesla cars. We had asked the front desk if we could use the charger but the other guest was never asked to move when they had completed charging. Overall we had a good stay for 1 night and it was nice to have a quick breakfast before we left. The only other negative was the ac is loud when running and the black out curtains do not keep much light out. If you are a light sleeper it may be a problem."
