“Facilities were fantastic, with hot water and flushing toilets. The only negative were the day staff who did not seem very friendly. I put this down to us getting off on the wrong foot, so was glad we were only staying here for two nights. The guy from our previous day -Safari drive was waiting for us at check out -with the day staff- ( all men ) stating we owed him an extra 10 Dollars, but we showed him the exchange rate and offered him the correct amount of one dollar- which he refused. “I had an amazing stay—check-in was incredibly fast, and the reception was so warm and welcoming. They even offered me a free early check-in and upgraded me to a riverfront tent. “Our safari at Lorian was absolutely outstanding and epic! It was small and very personal, with amazing service and food. We were blown away having gourmet dinners and meals cooked personally for us while in the "back country", overlooking a river with hippos, and right in the safari country. Betty was our game driver and was amazing. She was constantly on the phone with other drivers tracking what animals were where. We saw a leopard with a kill up in a tree, a lioness take down a wildebeest,……

“Had an amazing Safari experience with the Ngatuny family, we stayed there for three nights and it wasnt even enough because there you can do a lot ;-) They are Masais and can tell you alot about their culture and way of life. Also there is a school nearby which you can visit with the Ngatunys (Thank you Betty :-)) The Booking process was very easy and friendly, their cottages are really huge and comfortable, with own hot shower and seperate toilet.
