A beautiful house in a lovely location. The place was really well equipped comfortable and spacious and the pool was amazing - salt water meant no eczema for our daughter who has always suffered with chemicals in holiday pools.The electricity cost an extra 10 a day which was less than we had feared. We used the aircon at 23 in the 2 bedrooms to cool the rooms for a few hours at the start of the night with boosts during the night when needed and this kept us cool despite temperatures close to 40 during the day.The owner was very helpful booking us a taxi when we needed one.Can Mestre was a very untouristy base to return to with fantastic views from where it was easy to drive to other places. We visited Valldermossa and Alcudia as well as spending time in Selva and Inca. We had an amazing meal at Miceli restaurant in Selva which is within 15-20 minutes walk.We would definitely look to stay at Can Mestre again if we come back to Mallorca
