Schön gelegene Finca mit großem Garten und viel Platz.
Die Finca befindet sich schön gelegen direkt neben Caimari, mit malerischem Blick auf das Gebirge. Viel Platz für alle ist vorhanden.Pool und Außenküche mit Grill sind okay. Leider ist die Straße zeitweise sehr zu hören. Auch versuchen die Mücken nicht deine Freunde zu werden. Insgesamt ist die Finca aber gut zu empfehlen

Wirklich nettes Plätzchen
Wir haben den urlaub wirklich sehr genossen, dass Haus war für unsere Zwecke einfach super günstig gelegen (am Fusse der Berge als Ausgangspunkt für die Wanderungen in die Tramuntana)

wunderschöne lage mit Blick auf die serra Tramuntana
das ferienhaus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hat alles was man für den täglichen bedarf benötigt. auch der aussenbereich (garten, terrasse ist sehr schön). das haus ist eher für die wärmere Zeit geeignet und konzipiert. Wir waren Ende Oktober dort und hatten durchschnittliche Temperaturen von 15 grad und viel regen. Es mangelte an heizungen und warmen decken.

Met all expectations and would recommend
While the house is smaller than it appears on the photographs, it is more than adequate for at least four people. The property is on a public footpath and very close to the main Selva-Caimari road. Traffic can be heard during the day and also at night if the windows are open (as can the cockerels, dogs and goat/sheep bells!).
The owners only speak Spanish, but their son speaks English and all three are very helpful.
There is adequate glassware, crockery, cutlery and cooking pots/pans for 4-6 people and a nice BBQ area outside the kitchen door. There are shaded outside sitting areas around the property and space for 3 sun loungers by the swimming pool. The outside dining table is very useful and is undercover from sun or rain! The bed sheets are cotton and bath and pool towels are both provided. The WiFi is good.
With average mobility/fitness, one can walk along the public footpath into both Selva and Caimari, though would not recommend walking to/from Selva at night due to there being no footpath lighting and the main road is windy with no pavement and can be busy with vehicles i.e. could be dangerous in the dark.
Fresh bread (and other provisions) can be purchased in both villages - from a grocery store in Caimari and from a small supermarket or bakery in Selva. Ca Na Toneta in Caimari and Micili in Selva are two excellent (but rather expensive) restaurants offering tasting menus (advance reservations essential). The Sa Ruta Verda cycle shop/“juice bar” in Caimari (on the main road) is welcoming and offers breakfast, lunch and snacks. The 'Sa Tafona de Caimari' restaurant (and shop) is literally across the main road from the property and offers a good choice of food at reasonable prices.
The property (based in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains and one of the epic cycle climbs in the world - Coll de Sa Batalla) is well placed for exploring Mallorca by car e.g. Pollensa/Puerto Pollensa, Campanet village and its nearby caves, Soller/Port de Soller, Lluc monestary, Alcudia (old town is much nicer than the new town) and both Palma and the airport are only 30-40 minutes drive away.
As there is no air conditioning (did not need it in early September) the price of this property makes it VERY good value for money and is recommended.

Haus ok - gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge
Innenausstattung überzeugte leider nicht, ist sie doch etwas strapaziert (Wohnen), teils schwach beleuchtet und die Doppelbetten sind klein geraten. Ende Oktober hätte man es gerne drinnen bequem. Gemütlicher ist es im Garten. Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht. Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit (kein Englisch). Die Hauptstrasse, an der das Haus liegt, führt in Kürze in die Berge, ins Landesinnere oder ostwärts. Gute Ausgangslage auch fürs Radfahren

Tolle Finca mit phantastischem Garten
Sehr schöne Finca mit phantastischem Garten / Grundstück inmitten von Olivenbäumen mit Blick auf das Tramuntana Gebirge. Zur absolut perfekten spanischen Urlaubsidylle fehlen nur wenige Details. Auch der Vermieter war sehr freundlich. Wir (Familie mit 2 Kleinkindern) hatten eine tolle Woche und würden sie jederzeit weiterempfehlen.
Kleine Mankos: Schlafzimmer im OG waren (Anfang Juli) wirklich sehr warm, Ventilatoren schafften nur bedingt Abhilfe. Und man befindet sich nicht ganz in der (aus den Fotos evtl. vermuteten) totalen Einsamkeit, da die Finca an einer Landstraße und gegenüber der Ölmühle lie

La villa correspond exactement au descriptif, et en plus on peut ajouter l'excellent accueil des propriétaires.

Location Can Tomeu
Nous avons passé deux magnifiques semaines chez Esperança.
La location est conforme à la description, il n'y a pas de surprises désagréables. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Le mari de Esperançà a été très disponible et très serviable avec nous. Nous recommandons cette location.

It is a lovely countryhou...
It is a lovely countryhouse in which we were with 7 persons and had a very good time. Perfect kitchen, lots of space. The owner is very kindly and takes care of erveything. We will go again.
