This hotel provides nice size rooms with comfortable beds, excellent en suite bathroom facilities, and spaces to sit. The reception area provides free drinks and snacks starting in the afternoon. The staff is friendly and their English was the most functional we encountered on our trip around northern Japan. The location near Sendai train station is very convenient and the 7-11 next door was useful. This was a very comfortable place to end our trip.

Nice oasis within the city of Sendai

The Hotel Grand Bach in Sendai is centrally located with an easy walk to Sendai Station. Our room was on the small side but not abnormal for hotel rooms in Japan and the queen bed was comfortable. The staff was gracious and very helpful in setting up the shipping of our luggage to Tokyo. While the hotel doesn't have an arrangement with any parking garage if you're renting a car there is an independent parking garage right behind the hotel.

Lovely hotel! Very convenient and short walk to the station. Love the free afternoon and late night snacks. 7/11 store is right beneath on the ground floor with private access. Room size was comfortable for 2 people. Highly recommend this hotel.
