During the day it was fine but in the evening we were woken up several times throughout the night because the door to the room does not seal properly. It’s basically a sliding closet door. "Very friendly staff at check in. Walkable from Wakayamashi station. The area is a fun little section of the city with a lot of character. Plenty of hole in the wall eateries and small bars. I found some live music clubs to check out right around the corner. There are a few shopping streets to walk that aren’t focused on tourism. Good local feel if you want to escape the tourist or business vibe. "
