This place was good for our short stay. The piping in the washroom was a mess and anything that went down the sink went on the floor. The staff were really nice.

I love this place! I slept in a mixed 8 dormitory. It was a pleasant stay. I had to share the bathroom with many people, but it wasn’t a hassle at all. It was pretty clean to me. I love the staffs and the manager, Pablo, even hanging out with Karen and Tim! They were all pretty amazing and friendly. My stay was super great because of them. I love that is super close to Hongdae and Sangsu station. Thank you so much, Chingu! Great price and super nice location!

Good stay for a low price!

They delivered what they promised! It’s cheap, it’s comfortable, it’s easy. You can stay out however long you want at night (only don’t come home drunk or loud). It’s close to Sangsu subway station. About 50 min by subway to Gangnam. Free rice, free WiFi. Every bed has one designated plug to charge your phone, and there is a table outside the room with 5-6 plugs for common use!

Nice people, but the house is old and loud

Everytime someone came in or out of the house, the entire house creaked/shook. So if other tenants stay out late, you heard it loud at all times from them opening the door. Even just closing the doors softly shook everything so it was hard to get a good rest. Otherwise the people were nice/courteous. No one was loud, it's just the house is old.

Great value for backpackers/long layovers.

This guesthouse is well located in a trendy west-side neighborhood of Seoul, very close to train stop & several restaurants, cafes, & bars. Rooms are clean & relatively comfy, international English-speaking staff is very hospitable & friendly. Small but intimate common areas make it easy to interact with other travelers. Would definitely stay here again!

Traveler's paradise

It was very nice place, also a perfect location to get a Subway, bus or any transport. Bars, spas, restaurants, dance clubs, everything is just like 5 minutes walk from here. Staff is so friendly and manager is awesome. I will recommend this place to everyone who is going to visit Seoul. It was best place that I ever had.

Short stay only

This place was okay. I was rather disappointed when I arrived. Definitely had a backpackers feel to it. Kitchen was well equipped with things to cook with. However, there's only one shared bathroom for 3 rooms (around 16 people on a busy day). There is a bathroom downstairs as well. Room was okay. Not a lot of room for 8 people to stay in and not enough plugs for everyone to charge their phones and electronics. Bunk beds were quite shaky, did not feel sturdy. And our room had a damp smell to it. At night, there are no curtains for the windows to block out the light. So, the lamp post from outside shines into the room. Host was friendly though. The place is not in the busy part of Hongdae, which was nice. This guesthouse is good for a night or so. I would say that if you are planning on staying in Hongdae for awhile, there are other cheap places that you can stay that are a bit better.

The bunk bed was very shaky, easy to disturbed or to be disturbed. My stay was a unlucky one as my neighbors where drunk on the first night which they kept talking the whole night. It took quite long time to wait for shower as there is only one bathroom and toilet.
