Amazing views!
Nothing fancy about this place but the views are priceless. It is an older place but worked just fine for our family of 4. We walked down to the beach area. It was about a 45-60 minute drive over to the Hurricane Ridge entrance. I would recommend this place for the views alone. Amazing!

The view from the picture windows of the deck of this home is incredible! The sound of the ocean here was like a wave machine, pacing us to sleep - pure bliss! The fully stocked kitchen is wonderful (no dishwasher!); the master bedroom was spacious and comfy. The bathrooms were very clean. We had trouble with no hot water for the first night - Simone, the property manager was very prompt in getting the replacement hot water tank installed for us the next day and did reimburse us with a refund to offset no hot water for showers and doing dishes. I can't say enough about how grateful we were to her for her attention to this for our comfort. There were 2 bedrooms we didn't use in the back of the house - they looked to be comfortable, too. The deck has 4 comfortable chairs made for wave watching. The neighborhood was a lovely walk for our dog, too! Highly recommend a stay here!

Visiting Family in Sequim
The location was secluded and quiet with an extraordinary view. It was wonderful to pull up to the property and see the deck all lit up with lights - very welcoming. The house was cold with a very strong laundry drain smell - very musty. After we got the place warmed up the smell abated a bit but was present the entire stay. The house was clean but the carpets are in bad shape. No working propane fireplace was unfortunate and we could not find any birding scope in the house. Beds were very comfortable - bedding and towels were well stocked. Consider replacing the hot water heater to provide guests with enough hot water to shower. The second heat register in the main bedroom didn't work. Stairs to the beach are well maintained. Overall we really enjoyed our stay except for the bad smell in the house.

Quiet, private and great view
The location is excellent. Second time staying which says a lot. Although it's somewhat small and lacking a few amenities, the privacy and view make up for that. The deck is great and even though it's dated, it's well maintained and clean.

Cozy house with great views
This was a great place for a family reunion. Easy access to most places on the Olympic Peninsula and good restaurants in Port Angeles (ate at Bella Italia -- very nice). Wonderful view from the living room and deck. It's an older house and one issue is the lack of electrical receptacles for plugging things in (e.g., there is no outlet in the half bath, kitchen has only one outlet that serves the microwave, coffee maker and tea kettle). So perhaps consider bringing a power strip.

Wonderful views
Very private and quiet location with great views. Two of the bedrooms were not much bigger than the beds but the beds were comfortable and so it was fine. Need a set of directions for how to work the TV remotes. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Incredible ocean views
We made this home our base camp for exploration of the Olympic Peninsula. The home was very clean, comfortable beds and simply furnished. Fit our needs well. The views from the living room and master bedroom are incredible. There is a well kept path leading to the ocean's edge that feels like you have a private beach. There is a nice outdoor porch for dining and great chairs to view sunsets (and even sunrises)! We did have to travel further to many of the hikes and attractions for Olympic National Park than we would have liked but it put us a little bit closer to the airport to catch an earlier flight. So in summary--great place to stay but be mindful of a bit more driving to explore some of the major sites of the national park but I think that may be true of most of the lodging available on the peninsula.

Perfect location
My husband, 11 year old and 14 year old stayed for 4 nights. It was a great location to explore the Olympic Peninsula from. We thought it was nicer than the pictures showed . Awesome family vacation!

Exceptional Views, great location in the Sequim Valley.
Exceptional Views, great location in the Sequim Valley. If you can bring muck boots to walk from the house to Dungeness Spit at low tide, if not the park entrance is only a few blocks down the road. Great location to explore the Olympic Peninsula or take ferry or boat to Victoria BC or San Juan Islands from Port Townsend or Angeles. We took the Pungent Sound Express out of Port Townsend for whale watching and San Juan island stop. I highly recommend the all day trip . The house has stunning views with great sunsets and sunrises.

Beautiful spot with amazing views
This House was in a waterfront neighborhood but felt so private. place is a bit dated but that adds to its charm. Super clean and had all of the basics (e.g. shampoo, kitchen equipment) which is rare to find these days. Simone is an outstanding host whose genuine kindness contributed to our wonderful stay. Thank you for a lovely trip!!

The view is excellent
If you want a great view and access to the Strait this is the place for you. I was very disappointed overall with the inside of the rental, many reviews referred to it as rustic. It is a bit of a understatement, the rental is very outdated, and in need of some renovations. As one reviewer mentioned there is only one outlet in the kitchen and that's for the toaster, the microwave and coffee pot. The furniture is worn and old there is a recliner that if try to sit in it it feels like it is ready to fall over. For the price I was not expecting to find old worn carpet with tears in it. There is no rental guide book suggesting area restaurants or giving information about the property, instead it's just printed taped instructions on the fridge and an outdated tourist map. Front door doesn't easily close and lock has to be pushed hard to close. There is a grill on the deck but for the life of me I could only find a grill brush and tongues no spatula. Overall very disappointed especially for the rates charged and for a property managed by a rental company. Property management emailed door lock code prior to visit but the code was not correct I had to call in to get new code, poor communication from property management.

Ocean views and tranquility
This vacation home was perfect for a relaxing and tranquil weekend away! The perfect size for four adults and two medium doggos. Everything was super clean, comfortable and in working order. The property was nice and quiet and private, perfect for sitting on the deck in the sunshine with the ocean views below. We also saw lots of wildlife which was fun! Deer and eagles and waterfowl. The walk down to the beach was great, though may be muddy and slick in the winter time. It was nice and dry and easy to navigate for us in mid-spring. The views were gorgeous here and I loved the big livingroom windows to watch the sunset on cold nights. We didn't go to the reserve since we had doggos with us, but we could enjoy the views of it from afar. The home was just as described and had everything we needed for a comfy stay and staff were super nice, speedy and helpful when our door code wasn't working. Many thanks for a great weekend!

Darling cabin, idyllic views. Close to adventure.
What a great little cabin. Cozy feel, but plenty of room for our family of 5. Beds were super comfy. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware. The location was perfect for access to national forests and beaches. Would highly recommend!

Cozy cabin
Everything was great, as advertised! The ocean views to die for! Eagles, deers, solitude at the end of the road. Very peaceful and quiet. Extra style points for the bin full of various sized boots for going down to the beach…was really appreciated! The 10 am check out time was a bit early, in my opinion

A unique place
This super clean cabin is in a unique spot on a large, treed, high-bluff lot overlooking the Dungeness Spit and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. It is very quiet there. There is access to the beach on a well-built steep trail with stairs and railings to help those, like me, who needed a little hand up. The cabin is very well stocked and I certainly did not mind doing dishes the old fashion way, in a sink full of hot sudsy water. I can't think of any drawbacks. Yes, the two guest rooms are rather small but perfectly adequate. Book it when you can...it's popular.

Wonderful Cabin
My sister and I had a great stay at this property! The views of the spit and sunset were beautiful and we had such a great time exploring on the beach. Lots of Eagle activity outside of the cabin as well! The only downside was that the fireplace wasn’t working, but we could live with that.

Great views and great location!
My husband and I had a wonderful time here. It was a perfect little private getaway with a wooded trail down to a small private beach. And it was right next to a wildlife refuge. We had great views of the Dungeness spit (tip: you cannot walk to it though). Recommend!!!

Hard to beat the view and quiet
It was great for our party of 5 and only significant issue is that the time flew by too quickly. The huge deck is great and the beds are nice. It is a bit more rustic as many of the reviews noted but that was made up for by the location. The path down to the water is a plus as long as you're cautious. It's reasonably well stocked, only thing missing was a hair dryer and the water heater only has enough for 1 shower until it recovers (think one of the heating elements probably failed). Check out time is earlier than most rentals we've stayed at.

Fabulous spot to explore the coast and Olympic NP
My favorite part of this house was the back deck. We sat out in the morning and in the evenings and listened to the surf roll in, and the sunsets were amazing. Within a 10 minute drive we were at Dungeness Spit, which this property overlooks (although you can't actually walk there from the property). The cottage itself was large and comfortable. It didn't have the newest furnishings but it was very comfortable and the beds were quite good too. If we ever go back to Olympic NP, we will absolutely stay at this cottage! P.S. We were sad when we left because my husband lost his favorite sweatshirt someplace... then thrilled when the owner phoned this evening and said she found the sweatshirt and is mailing it back to us! 5 1/2 stars!

Beautiful view of the spit. Big deck with the best Adirondack chairs! Sat there for morning coffee, meals, and evening beverages. Loved the sound of the waves. Super comfy king size bed. Washer and dryer. Everything you need in the kitchen. Great place!

Family getaway
Easy check-in and nice layout for our small group. Gorgeous view. Kitchen was tight but size matched listing and we were able to make it work. Limited number of outlets, but not a dealbreaker at all. Tv turned on but never actually worked playing channels…however we had so much fun outside never seemed to mind. Overall a great place and location.

Great views and fun in the tide pools
Overall it was quite lovely and the views and ocean waves were spectacular. The house is older and homey. A little lacking on spices and condiments, but post-pandemic is a different world.

Quiet with a view
Great view, quiet, spacious and had everything we needed. Tides made it tough to get down to the actual spit, but didn’t matter because it was such a perfect view. I would stay here again.

Beautiful view
The property was just as described, but even better. It's right at the base of Dungeness Spit. If you ignored the signs, you could walk down the steps and along the shore at low tide to walk right onto the Spit. The views are beautiful. You can see right over the Strait to the lights of Victoria, BC. And on the road the property is on are tons of deer, just lounging around eating grass and bushes like they own the place.

Private getaway
This location and property was not just what we expected, but better. The view from the patio and through the large windows is phenomenal. The private entrance down to the beach is fun for a evening or morning activity. The interior of the home was clean and well supplied with what we needed for cooking. The weather was so beautiful we used the bbq grill both nights we were there and enjoyed, what felt like, our private corner of the world. We saw so many different sites in Olympic and this location was good for that. I would recommend this to any friend or family traveling to the area.

Best vacation house in Sequim!
We had a great experience at this property! The house was exactly as described, and the view was amazing! The deck is the length of the house with a spectacular view, and you can hear the waves crashing on the shore of the spit. The house is set back in the trees, so it's private and quiet. You have everything you need for meals at the house with a fully furnished kitchen. The house has a TV, books, games, and toys to keep children entertained. It is less than a 10 minute drive to the Dungeness Spit trailhead, and a 10-15 drive to downtown Sequim. This is the perfect house to spend time with family or get away to disconnect. The place being pet friendly was a bonus so we could take the family dogs with us. 5 stars, would definitely recommend!

Unique property with beautiful views
This is a very unique property with beautiful views. It is a little bit rustic but has a pleasant cabin feel. My Family had a great time playing on the spit and walking the neighborhood looking for deer!

we had a wonderful time. the cabin has a stellar view, kitchen is small but well equipped, we ate all our meals in, which is a first for us, sunset dinners from the table. We saw a doe and her fawn and many birds. the cabin showes its age but it doesn't matter the sound of waves lull you to sleep and sunrise greets you in the morning if you leave the bedroom curtains open. I will enjoy returning to 10000 waves.

The good: - the view is amazing. An unobstructed view of the entire spit and ocean The wall of glass in the living room made the view central. - location is great with private stairs to the beach - cool forested location felt very secluded and private. Loved the trees! Kept it cool in the heat of the day but warm enough to enjoy the deck in the sun. - pet friendly and our dogs loved it. - deer paradise. More than we could count Other: - beds are very firm - kitchen is small and limited to one cook at a time - too much furniture in the living room. Three couches makes it hard to get around the small space This is a cozy cabin for 2-3 people to share comfortably. It was just right for us! We’d definitely come back!

Wonderful location for a birthday
We loved this house. The view, the airiness of the interior, the deck for barbecuing, and the trail down to the beach. House was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. It was an excellent place to spend a special birthday in anniversary, and there are a lot of really great hikes nearby. We would definitely love to come back here.

Great Place!
We had a wonderful stay, walked along the Dungeness Spit, visited the lighthouse, and did a daytrip up to Hurricane Ridge. The place is very nice, very quiet, on a bluff above the spit, with a walkway down to the water. A long driveway with lots of trees, very private.

Great location and views with privacy. Kitchen well stocked and plenty of room in the house!
Our stay was a mini reunion and it was a perfect hub to head out to hike in the Olympics! We loved the view of the Dungeness Spit and sunsets. Great open living/dining area to accommodate our group.

Beautiful views!!
Everything was very clean and comfortable! We used this as our base to drive into the National Park which means we were gone quite a bit (lots of driving). Wish we had more time just to relax at the cabin and enjoy!

Clean, comfortable house with a fabulous location.
This was a great house. Very clean and well-stocked with a wonderful view of the Dungeness Spit. Perfect place enjoyed by 3 generations. Very bright and pleasant.
