Idyllic country escape

Amazing medieval monastery, partially renovated to include house. This is a working farm, and is remote from any commerce. There is farm equipment moving around, and the nearest grocery is 15 minutes away. It was however, perfect for our stay. We were looking for a family get-away. 45 minutes to Eperney and Reims. Kitchen lacked sufficient quality cooking equipment considering the requirement to cook all meals. Plenty of space for a large family to spread out. The children loved running in the field; beautiful foggy mornings in the Fall. Difficult to find the house on google maps, coordination for check-in required some French.

Gîte de la Prévôté Heel privé! Groot huis en grote tuin erbij. Mooie oude stijl, van binnen gerenoveerd. Veel ruimte. Veel extra's, zoals beddengoed dat al op de bedden lag, overal handdoeken, washanden, wc-papier. Een wasmachine waar zelfs wasmiddel bij stond. De keuken voorzien van alle praktische spullen. Een lekker mandje bij onze aankomst Goed contact met de verhuurder. Het was heel fijn! Bedankt!!

Met heel veel ruimte buiten en zeer rustig gelegen. 🙁 Het is oud en ik mis met name comfort in de tuin. Dus een goede tuinset, parasol, ligstoelen. De plek is erg afgelegen je moet met de auto overal heen. Het is voor een paar dagen prima."

Gîte de la Prévôté Die ehemalige Abtei ist wundervoll und voller Geschichte. Die Energie ist bezaubernd und es ist traumhaft ruhig. Wir waren 2 Familien mit fast erwachsenen Kindern. Das Haus war super für fie paar Tage zusammen. Die Badezimmer sind einzig etwas wenig für 8 Personen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Gîte de la Prévôté We hebben met z’n vijven een heerlijk verblijf gehad. De woning was ruim en schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Anne en Patrick zijn zeer gastvrij en maken het hun gasten echt naar de zin. De woning is smaakvol en compleet ingericht met o.a. de charme van een heerlijke open haard. Veel buitenruimte om lekker te barbecueën. Reims en Epernay op zo’n 40 minuten afstand met de auto. Voor een bezoek aan de Champagne-streek een absolute aanrader.

Gîte de la Prévôté "Un grand merci à Anne et sa famille, nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner au gîte de la prévôté durant quelques jours : la bâtisse est encore plus belle et plus accueillante que sur les photos, la cuisine est très fonctionnelle et bien équipée, le salon cosy et invite à la détente :) Les chambres à l’étage sont bien aménagées et la literie confortable. L’extérieur est superbe, même si le mauvais temps nous a empêchés d’en profiter pleinement. Merci Anne pour votre accueil, votre gentillesse et votre sourire, nous aurons plaisir à revenir !"

Très belle maison, très spacieuse et très bien aménagée avec tout le confort ! Nous avons apprécié le calme et la sérénité des lieux; nous avons été très bien accueillis et bien renseignés sur les découvertes à faire dans la région; très bonne adresse que nous recommandons; allez y en famille ou entre amis: la maison est très conviviale! Gîte de la Prévôté "hele mooie plek! wij verbleven hier met 2 gezinnen (4 volwassenen en 4 jonge kinderen) en genoten van de intense rust van het Franse platteland. De fazanten die op de lange toegangsweg liepen maakten het ritje naar de hoofdweg nog bijzonderder! het huis is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien, de binnenplaats was een heerlijke plek voor de kinderen om te fietsen en voor ons om een glaasje champagne te drinken in de zon. het nabijgelegen dorp fere en tardenois is op ongeveer 7 autominuten maar heeft alles wat je nodig hebt."

Gîte de la Prévôté "Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche mit zwei Familien in dem Ferienhaus verbracht. Unsere Gastgeber, Anne und Patrick, sind ganz herzliche Menschen, die in der umgebauten Abtei einen einmaligen und ruhigen Ort zur Erholung geschaffen haben. Gleichwohl sind alle Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs in zehn Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar, so dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Außerdem ist das Ferienhaus perfekt gelegen, um von hier aus die Champagne zu erkunden. Ich hatte erst einen Fehler bei der Buchung gemacht und die falsche Personenanzahl genannt. Dies konnte ich mit Anne im Vorfeld aber problemlos korrigieren. Die Kommunikation hat über Airbnb wie auch telefonisch super geklappt. Vielen Dank!"

Gîte de la Prévôté Zeer ruime en rustige plek. Wij vonden de videocamera’s buiten ongemakkelijk. De host reageerde niet of deze aan of uit stonden, dus hebben er maar een doek over gehangenp. Vanaf het huis geen goede wandelmogelijkheden. Onze 2 honden konden zich echter wel goed op in ruime tuin vermaken.

Unterkunft ist sehr groß und idyllisch, passend für die Champagne. Aber auch sehr einfach eingerichtet. Sehr ruhig und die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und entspannt. Wer nicht zu hohe Ansprüche hat, sehr zu empfehlen.

trip to Champagne area.

House not cleaned recently. Cobwebs in many areas. Infestation of ants / insects in the kitchen. 2 dead mice in the fireplace in the t.v room. Wardrobe didn't have a rail to hang clothes. No mirrors in one of the bedrooms.4 bedrooms all upstairs. Only One toilet + one shower / bath upstairs for 4 bedrooms. there was a shower downstairs in the utility room you had to go through the dining room to access. Kitchen utensils lacking. No juicer. No umbrellas to provide shade in the garden. It would have been useful if kitchen paper,bin bags + soap + items had been provided.

Il est en pleine nature avec la ville et les vignes de champagne juste à côté. Tout est fait pour y être à l'aise. La literie est très confortable, le jardin est spacieux et surtout la cuisine est super pour préparer les repas entre amis. Les hôtes sont d'une gentillesse incroyable et très arrangeants. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir :)"
