Sesselbahn Kiental-Ramslaunen

We booked this hotel because it was near the airport and seemed clean and modern from the pictures. It is in a neighborhood and not all that close to the airport(not walkable, 10-15 minute drive). They charged $30 CHF for a ride to the airport in the morning for the 3 people in my group in a shared shuttle van. An Uber would have been less. Staff at the hotel told us we needed to arrive 2 hours before our flight for international trip. We barely made it to our gate as they were calling our boarding group. Breakfast is ok, No amenities in the bathroom besides hand soap. No air conditioning and it was quite stuffy on a hot day, Wish we had stayed some where else.

The hotel is located in very nice location that is hard to beat. Upscale restaurants, designer shops around, short walk to the old town district and 2 blocks from the lake. The hotel shows age, but the bathroom was remodeled. The A/C unit kept up with very high temperatures outside. The restaurant in the hotel served very good breakfast buffet and was open for dinners. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful.

Decent room on the smaller side. Conveniently located. Was there during heat wave and fan in room was noisy. I would stay there again
