「Room was spotlessly clean and the bath and shower room was fantastic, all the staff were friendly and courteous and the food was brilliant. Excellent pub for everyone with a good selection of drinks, we will be returning here」

「A lovely old world pub, the highest in Britain. Lovely ambience, cosy bar areas and nice rooms. Just a few scruffy areas like the carpet going up to the accommodation and the ceiling and floor of the bathroom sliding door area. However it is understandable with being a busy pub with people with work boots and walking boots constantly in and out. The food was good, with lots of choice and well cooked. 「Had a wonderful stay at the Penny Bun. It has a homely feel with very friendly staff. The view of the surrounding countryside was impressive especially during breakfast with the restaurant large windows. 」

「Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. 」
