“Romantic and relaxing with great views of the jungle and ocean. Room could use a little TLC with things like a broken soap dish in the shower, but we are an active outdoor couple and don't need grand comfort. You are in the tropical jungle so expect bugs. The voice of the jungle speaks at night. As we are active travelers we spent much time exploring the island and scuba diving , then would come back to our room to cool off in the pool and relax with the million dollar view! “On arrival to the guest house there was a nice 'welcome' laid out on the bed with flowers and decorative towels. On arrival the shower was dirty with hairs from the previous guest left on the tiles, floor tiles stained as the shower has a drainage issue, and the shower pressure is extremely low when set to warm, I would describe it as a drizzle of water. The toilet was also poorly cleaned on arrival, and stained. The two decorative bath towels on display for arrival were unfortunately the……

“I recently stayed at the Bayhouse it was a nightmare my air conditioning wasn’t working three out of five days I was there. My air conditioning wasn’t working leaking water they said a technician fixed it the following day it still was broke. My water was cold and lukewarm, not really what you consider hot. I got fly bugs in my room thousands of them was In my room and also in my shower. They told me all the rooms were full and I can’t move rooms. I spent over 700 usd and feel robbed from a good……

“The staff were pleasant and friendly. The resort on the other side of the island gave much into tranquility and peace. If you are someone that loves going in the water of a Caribbean beach, utilize the shuttle that takes you to the other side of the island, but unfortunately the beach at the resort isn’t ideal. Good vacation, to make it great I wish the management consulted with the locals for food and Fruits (seemed very Americanized). I was excited to read the website indicating the resort……

“Just not that this is an escape.from everyday life. There aren't any major restaurants, supermarkets or other commodities near by so walk with any snacks you may like, but the freedom of being in nature, eating local fruits on the property, being able to hear yourself think without distraction was well worth it.”

“It was close to the beach and easily accessible by public transportation. The AC worked well. There was warm water for showering. Would have been nice to have a washing machine in the apartment. Overall the property was great.”

“Room needs some work bed was shaking the closet and bathroom door couldn't close properly. There was no space for fiolded clothes just some hangers. And to note also if AC needs to be turned off when not in room it should be mention on the website. Bed also was poorley constructed..”

“The property is clean and well-maintained. However, the after-hours check-in process could be improved to make it smoother for guests arriving late or after hours. Additionally, the AC in the living room was not working, but it did work in all our bedrooms. Lastly, the shade umbrellas at the pool need maintenance. They are all broken in some way. The pool is on an exposed rooftop with no shade, so having functional working umbrellas would be a great improvement.”
