Log Cabin 2 KING Bedrooms + Den Pool Room 2 Baths (Sleeps 4 max) 3 TVs propane firepit whole house generator with bears & wild turkey. You will find a desk and chair with charging tower both Mr. Coffee and Keurig coffee pots in the kitchen. n nA whole house generator keeps the well pump and heat pump working year-round when other cabins are down with a power failure. Come for Family or Friend time in this PRIVATE LOG CABIN with a lovely sloped grass yard that gives you a play area for children or pets by the forest and paved driveway to a large paved area for convenient parking by the cabin porch. The Shagbark Community has a 24/7 manned security gate with a texting system to keep guests aware of safety and helpful community information. You will find 2 common areas available to you at no cost. The meadow pavilion area by the creek has walking trail dog park playground Frisby golf tether ball pavilion with picnic tables and a small putting green. Further along N. Clear Fork past the Community Center is the Shagbark swimming pool and large court with tennis pickle ball corn hole and basketball with equipment provided. n nIt is great to be together and enjoy the slower pace of the Smoky Mountains! You will find a master bedroom suite a second bedroom game room with a POOL TABLE to enjoy while on vacation and large Great Room with easy on GAS FIREPLACE a lift recliner and a 3-seat leather couch with 2 recliner ends that are activated with electric buttons. The second full bath is across the hall from the second bedroom and game room. Both baths have a combination tub/shower. In the kitchen you will find both Keurig and Mr. Coffee style coffee pots some k-cup pods in different flavors sugar and sweetener packets also some snacks to start your stay. n nCome for special celebrations like your Anniversary his or her Birthday Family get-togethers before the kids are off on their own. We enjoyed our stay at Amazing Grace and Cathy is an excellent host. Our dogs liked the cabin too! The only two negatives I would give is I wish some part of the yard was fenced in, some previous guests did not pick up after their dogs and unfortunately I stepped in dog poop and ruined my shoes. Also, the mattress in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable and needs replacing.

We ariived in the evening time and directions to our cabin was very easy to find. We took along our dog and she enjoyed the enclosed porch and all the room to sniff and do her business. She had plenty of room inside the cabin to find a comfy spot and enjoed looking out the front window. We did not see any bears as we were there xmas week but saw deer and plenty of squirrels. The area is very quiet and peaceful and was an awesome place to enjoy xmas week.

Quiet Community

We enjoyed our stay at Amazing Grace cabin. The gated community was quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was a nice way to relax. We took our dogs to the creek at the community center and they enjoyed it. The cabin was spacious and accommodating for us.

Weekend trip

We booked the cabin for a long weekend for my family to enjoy some quiet and celebrate my daughter's birthday. We did enjoy our time, but there were a few things we were disappointed in. Quite a few of the drawers in the kitchen were full of mouse droppings. I understand its in the woods, but I would expect the cleaning crew to appropriately clean any droppings up and sanitize ahead of time. And there were quite a bit so I'm guessing it's been a bit since the drawers were checked and cleaned. The listing says the house had a washer and dryer, but it only has a washer. Normally I would just hang dry things outside, but it rained the entire time we were there so that wasnt really an option. The mattresses were pretty worn and not super comfortable and the pillows are flat and worn. We did bring our own pillows and blankets so were able to make it work. The only other issue we had was that instead of enjoying the quiet, we had to hear construction the entire time as they are building a house directly across from where the cabing is located. We also had some issues getting in and out of the driveway as there were times the construction workers were parked blocking the end of the drieway. We did enjoy the coffee maker and coffee pods that were left. The hot tub was nice and is under a covered roof, so we were able to enjoy it even with the weather being less than ideal. The view from the cabin is beautiful and we were able to enjoy seeing some wildlife.

Loved our stay

First off I need to thank Cathy for her response, caring and understanding in the mix up there was initially. It made the situation a lot easier because of her patience. We loved where we stayed. The privacy of the cabin and being gated helped us feel comfortable and safe. There were a few issues with the cleaning, like kitchen drawers and hair behind doors ,which I did sweep up. I did purchase a broom , because there wasn't one available, and left it there, which I didn't mind because I wanted to maintain cleanliness. The be view at night was spectacular. The hot tub was used by us and we really enjoyed it. Over all it was a wonderful time and would consider staying here again. Thank you, Cathy. cleandipuanthere so I c

2 night birthday celebration

Nice cabin overall. Easy check-in and very good communication with the property manager. We appreciated the basket of snacks and water bottles. The view is nice and the distance to Pigeon Forge is an easy drive.A few things in the cabin need attention. The living room blinds are broken and need replacing.The deadbolt on the inside of the front door is loose. We had a hard time getting the locking mechanism to kick in when attempting to lock the door from the outside.The lower heating element in the oven did not work. We tried to bake potatoes, but ended up having to broil them.There were either bugs or mice droppings in one of the lower kitchen drawers. The drip coffee pot needed a good scrubbing before we could use it. We also had to wipe out the refrigerator drawers before we could put our food away.There are only 5 forks in the cutlery drawer. Definately could have used more for a family of four, 2 night stay.I would suggest replacing the salt and pepper shakers (they are very old and almost empty) and also supplying coffee filters. Some people still prefer drip coffee.

Great stay!

My family and I have had MANY vacations in the Smokies. This was one of the best! Would definitely recommend "Amazing Grace". It was a wonderful location in the gated community of Shagbark and, man, the VIEW! What a great stay.

Spring break

We had a great time! My 2 kids (17 & 21) were on spring break from high school & college so the 4 of us stayed in the cabin for the week. Weather was great, snowed in the mountains in Gatlinburg one night, was beautiful! Had a high wind warning a couple days, power went out one night for a few hours but with the generator wasn’t an issue at all! Loved having the gate on the deck so the dog could walk around. The hot tub was awesome! The cabin was clean & had everything we needed, would definitely come back again!

The most comfortable vacation

This was the first time that we did not have speed bumps getting into a cabin. Cathy was excellent with communicating directions, how to access cabin and even went above to have a beautiful Christmas tree complete with hand crafted ornaments. Cathy left coffee, water, and local treats for us to enjoy. We just loved the cleanliness of the cabin. The bed was so comfortable. Such an amazing cabin looking forward to returning in the future
