An out of the way condo hidden in mountain nature.

576 sq-ft , Sleeps 4 with 1 bedroom and sofa sleeper, 1 full Bath room, Living room, Kitchen /Laundry, Dining Area and Porch. Way on the outskirts of town, a 40 minutes drive to downtown Pigeon Forge, 45 minutes drive to downtown Sevierville or 35 minutes drive to Newport. Due to being in the mountains, phone service may be limited till you arrive at the condo. English Mountain Condominium Resort is located on top of English Mountain. English Mountain has views of Tennessee's Smoky Mountains and the valleys below.

The living room has a large wood-burning stone fireplace, 50" TV with cable and a DVD player with movies; A Queen size sleeper sofa, recliner and rocking chair. A large Patio door to the balcony with views of the mountains.

Kitchen has all major appliances including laundry washer and dryer. It has all the kitchen equipment you will need to get the cooking meal done.

On the grounds, there is picnic / grill areas, walking paths, and trails.

In the summer months, you can use the outside Pool. pool house / Sauna and grill.

The apart is on the first floor which has 9 stairs steps leading down to it. The apartment is in the center of the floor with a deer on the sidewall.

100% refund if you call at least 14 days before check-in.
50% refund (minus the service fee ) if cancel at least 7 days before check-in
No refund if you cancel less than 7 days before check-in.

DAMAGE AND INCIDENTALS
You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property coursed by you and/or your party during your stay.
The apartment owner is not responsible, financial or other wise for any personal property that is / was left behind, stolen, or damaged in any way. While the renter is staying at Wine Sipping Hillbilly condo and / or on the property of English Mountain Condominium Resort and grounds.

Host was very responsive, they have a ringcam that they monitor. Condo is very remote but the descriptions are true to scale. It has everything that you could ask for minus room service lol. Very clean and no smoke or musty smells Please note that the following items are Not complaintsShould you arrived after dark please becarefull of the roads plus Google maps takes you to the rear gat which is locked at all times. This has nothing to do with host nor facility

Host was helpful. The place was clean and everything was working, there is a roku on the living room tv that allows you to use services like netflix which is nice but theres also a dvd player. Netflix worked on the bedroom tv as well. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook meals, there is no working garbage disposal though so keep that in mind while washing dishes. Location is beautiful and quiet but the road getting here is quite windy, make sure your car is in good condition with good breaks and tires. If you plan on coming here in the snow, there is a sign that says tire chains and 4 wheel drive needed. If you stay here and uber to pigeon forge or Gatlinburg like we did you will be paying 30-40 dollars one way.But this stay was perfect and the peace and quiet is just what we needed.

Didn't Work: Dryer, heat/air conditioner (fan was running constantly), garbage grinder, washer (noisy sounding gears grind) screen door didn't close, husband fixed the kitchen faucet (spraying the wall), refrigerator (food & dairy products all spoil) We transfer the stuff that the save in a cooler and a drive a mountain to give the ice. Host didn't fix it the refrigerator and he portable to use, Safety grab bar in out of the tub (we told host -- got it. We the liked of location ... the unit is the upgraded all the appliances and furniture (king bed nice).

It was a nice and quiet place. But pool ( that help me decide on this listing) was undercontruction. My grandkids was very disappointed. Host was nice, he had to come 40 minutes awy to fix air conditioner. Breaker was off and the thermostat was almost impossible to get to. Host gave us directions for better roads into town and that was very much appreciated.

TERRIBLE

This was the worst condo that I ever saw. We stayed one night and lost our money. It was so dirty, no hot water, bees swarmed you on the patio, refridgerator didn't work. dead bird on the patio in the rocking chair. I never saw a condo this dirty in all my life. There was probably more things that didn't work but we just wanted out of there before we saw anything else. Please don't stay at this condo. Lloyd is not willing to help you. He will answer you but won't do anything about it. He wouldn't send anyone out to fix the issues. He told us that he was but we waited over three hours and not one person showed up. Who would stay in a condo with all these conditions. It is not like the photos show on line. Lloyd refused to give us back our money and virbo offered 90 dollars, which is a joke bc we paid over a thousand dollars. We have booked with virbo for years but this is my last booking with them and they won't stand behind you so I hope you never have a issue. Bad adverstisment and just bad company that expects you to stay in this mess when you sent the photos. I wish I could post the photos.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY OFF THE BEATEN PATH!

Overall, we had an awesome stay! This place is perfect if you are looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still be close enough to be where you want to be in 30-45 minutes. We were able to be in Sevierville in 30 minutes and Pigeon forge within 40. If you are looking to just stay in and relax, there is a grocery store close by and all utensils and cookware to fix a full meal in the room. Phone service is almost non existent until you get off the mountian, but the wifi in the room works perfect! That was a plus for us, but may be difficult for others. The views going up to the place were awesome and the mountain view from the balcony is very pretty! As has been stated before, the road to it is very windy and has a few switchback curves, but nothing too crazy. We handled it fine a 2wd Ford Edge. I can't say enough about the host, Lloyd. He was very responsive and very accomidating to some last minute changes we requested. Overall we had a very enjoyable time!

Less than expected

This condo is literally 45 minutes up a terrible mountain. The condo was not very clean. Hot water had been switched off, and after sleeping in the bed we found panties that DID NOT belong to myself. I was very disappointed in how unclean it was. Would not suggest this condo to anyone wanting to visit Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg as it is very out of the way. There is absolutely NO cell service there. When I had questions Lloyd was quick to respond thankfully.

Quiet Location

Be prepared for winding roads, up to 40 minutes from activities in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, and a walk to the pool. The washer and dryer were an added bonus when booking our stay. (Tip: do an additional spin before putting clothes in the dryer.) We enjoyed making breakfast and dinner in the kitchen. Measuring cups and bowls are limited. The bed was comfortable. The boys enjoyed the pull out in the living room. The instructions to the pool were in an awkward spot, behind the front door. We accidentally went the wrong way while exploring. Overall, we had a relaxing, comfortable time at the condo.

PROPERTY IS UNSAFE!!!! OWNER WON'T RESPOND

This property is located at the top of a mountain with very sketchy narrow roads and very steep inclines. You better have a car with new brakes and transmission. There is no cell phone coverage at all for the 45 min it takes to climb the mountain. Once at the property, there is NO PHONE COMMUNICATION. If you have a medical emergency, and need to call 911...you are OUT OF LUCK. There is no land line at the property even though a pohone is shown in the photos. There is only hit or miss texting available, and only if you connect to WiFi. Prior to entering the property...you are again out of luck. The "host" refuses to answer text messages, emails, and phone calls. It is NOT CLOSE to Pidgeon Forge or Gaitlinburg as advertised...again, that is a 45 min drive up and down a very steep road with no guardrails and huge drop offs. NOT RECOMMENDED unless you like primitive camping in the middle of the woods with no communication.

While at this location we encountered two bats clinging to the walls of our stay room. We tried to contact staff to no avail several times. We left… The area should have been checked and free of wildlife.
