I can’t say enough nice things about Vicki and this home! We were family of 7 and had more than enough space! Amazing views, and all the comforts of home!! Even our dogs felt at home! Not a crazy drive to reach the home! We even got to see a mamma bear and her 2 babies!

We travel few times a year through out the US and always book to rent a house. This by far was great location, clean, owners amazing and stocked with every essential you need. Plenty of space for everyone. If we come back to this area, we will definitely be booking this location again.

Thanksgiving in the mountains

We had a large family group and a couple of doggies. The location was absolutely amazing and the communication from the owner was very thorough and timely. We had a small issue with a fireplace and they quickly had it taken care of even on a holiday weekend. Two levels have decks that are able to be completely secured with rolling gates for the furry friends to have room to spread out and play as well. We will definitely visit again!

Smokey Mountains Vacation

The property was awesome. Very clean and well stocked. Vicki was great. She was very responsive and easy to work with. Hot tubs were clean and the fire pit area was great. We were sad we didn’t get to see any bears. Location wasn’t far mileage wise, but it took at least 20 minutes to get to places.

Magnificent experience

Our family made so many memories in this beautiful cabin! The kids did not want to leave the game room. We played many card games and the kids loved playing pool. It was very cold in the evenings and the warmth of the fireplaces were perfect. Any questions we had were very quickly answered by Vicki! She was an amazing host! We look forward to our next visit to the cabin!

Absolutely perfect property and host

Stayed with our very large and diverse aged family for daughters college graduation. First off the communication with Vicki is amazing. The property was so clean you could eat off the floor. Everything was in top notch working order. There is so much to say about this place and the host I could write a book. I have been using VRBO for many years now for stays all over the country, hands down best stay ever. You made this event one that our family will never forget. We hope to return. Expected Great and Delivered Wow

My family of 5 and a pair of grandparents spent the kiddos school spring break in the mountains. This listing delivered everything we were looking for. Vicki was very proactive with us to make sure we had everything we needed and then to just check in after we had been there a few days. I could not be happier with the set up (every bedroom has its own bathroom and that was something I never knew we wanted until we got it. Even our 4-legged friends were very happy with the place. The location of the house made traveling to all the different places we had planned very easy even if the roads made you feel like you were in a video game - lol. I would recommend this place for families with older kids because the whole downstairs is essentially their apartment. It houses the game room which I have to say got my kiddos off the screens and having fun with playing the games against each other. Thanks for the wonderful house to create our memories Vicki.

Amazing stay at flying Squirrel Mountain Retreat

Our group of 15, including 8 adults and 7 teenagers, had an absolutely fantastic stay at Flying Squirrel Mountain Retreat! This cabin exceeded all our expectations and provided us with an unforgettable mountain getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The cabin itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The six bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms were all impeccably furnished with comfortable beds, luxurious linens, and Smart TVs, ensuring that everyone had their own space to unwind. One of the highlights of our stay was the abundance of amenities available. The two hot tubs were a hit with both the adults and teenagers, providing the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking. The game room was another favorite spot, offering hours of entertainment with shuffleboard, pool, poker, and arcade games. We also appreciated the well-appointed kitchen, which had everything we needed to prepare meals for our large group. The cabin's location was ideal, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to attractions like Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the National Park. We enjoyed exploring the area during the day and returning to the cabin in the evenings to watch the sunset from the wrap-around decks. The attention to detail at Flying Squirrel Mountain Retreat was truly exceptional. From the pet-friendly amenities to the handicapped accessible features, every aspect of the cabin was thoughtfully designed to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests. What else can I say, this was an amazing experience! The host: The communication with Vicki when booking, through check-in, and up to check-out was absolutely the best I have ever had. She was so polite and accommodating. We ran short on paper towels so I reached out to her and within minutes had access to some extras. The place: This property has everything! It is a short 25 minute drive from Gatlinburg, tucked gently up in the mountains with a real secluded feel. About 10-12 minutes from a Food City and McDonald's if you need groceries or a quick snack. Fuel and Ice are also just as close. The view from the deck is amazing. Two hot tubs! An awesome pellet grill! A fire pit! Plenty of space for our party of 13 which included 5 couples. Everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep on. Everyone had their own bathroom. The dining area had plenty of seating. The kitchen was more than well stocked, it had everything we needed to be comfortable cooking meals during our stay. The game room down stairs has a poker table, pool table, arcade games, and a mini-shuffleboard table(not sure that is the proper name). We were blessed to see a few raccoons and a fox while we were here. Neither were intrusive to our joyful time sitting on the deck, rocking in a chair, and telling stories. We had 5 vehicles and were able to park them out front without any issues. This is definitely a bucket list property. One final note....the wifi was great. I haven't used Starlink before and was amazed at the speed, even with 13 folks in the home. I could go on and on. A kennel for your furry friend, a jacuzzi tub in the upstairs master suite with a private deck, kids dishes, coffee maker, extra towels about, pool towels for the hot tub, games galore, and a very nice welcome package upon arrival.

Plenty of room for our group. Kitchen was big and well stocked with utensils and everything we needed. Wood for the fire pit was great. Not many cabins have a fire pit and that was a big draw. Vicki was very nice and attentive! Would definitely stay here again!

Mountain reunion

Wonderful cabin to stay in, especially for a large family. This cabin is equipped with anything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. The host thought of everything you might need to make your stay feel like home. The view was beautiful! So clean!! Probably the cleanest cabin I’ve ever stayed in and we’ve been coming to this area for over 25 years. Will definitely be contacting Vicki to stay here or one of her cabins for our next visit.

Great pet friendly mountain rental

We were pleased with the privacy and beautiful mountain scenery. Loved the main floor wrap around porch and swing, and hot tub. Each bedroom with its own bath was a game changer for us. Kids loved the pool table and basketball goal. Loft suite was private and unique. The many Highland cow and bear prints added much to this location. Host was in communication with me frequently to make sure we were comfortable. Would stay again and recommend to others.
