this was our first time to visit the area and it was absolutely beautiful. the cabin was exactly as described and super convenient to gatlinburg and pigeon forge…would definitely recommend

Cozy retreat

Wonderful Getway

Wonderful cabin beautifully decorated for the season. Communication with the owner was phenomenal, every question we had was answered quickly and she provided great local information resources. Highly recommend!

Fun mountain spring break

My husband and I brought my mom and our daughter for a 4 day stay. Cabin was the perfect size and super comfortable. Great communication from owner!

This cabin is between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, just far enough off the main road to be quiet. It was perfect. An added bonus, was sitting on the second floor balcony when mama bear and her four (yes four) cubs circled the house. It's everything you'd want in a VRBO.

very enjoyable national park visit

We spent three days at this very warm and cozy and well- decorated home, and we enjoyed it very much. Nothing negative to say. Owner was very responsive to all of our questions. Everything about our stay here, as we visited the Great Smoky National Park ,was enjoyable.

Great stay!

We stayed here for a week with our brother and sister-in-law. We loved that it had 2 master suites. The cabin is cozy and Diane called as soon as we arrived to let us know about a couple of issues. We did have a bear visit. Be sure to keep your vehicles locked. They can open car doors. We would definitely stay again.

Cozy and Perfect for Us!

We had such a good time staying at Vintage Retreat. My husband and I noticed something different every day about the vintage decorations all over the cabin and my 7 and 11 year old kids loved the gumball machine! We got lucky enough to see a mama bear twice while we were there and the second time she came back with FOUR cubs. The hot tub was perfect and the games upstairs were a huge hit. Our cabin was the perfect size for our family of 4. Our one recommendation would be to consider upgrading the microwave as it appears to be towards the end of its life and it took us 8.5 minutes to microwave a mini size bag of popcorn.

Location was great, but entry was complicated. Locking and unlocking doors was cumbersome. We did not need to contact the property manager. Shower curtain in downstairs bath needs replacing.

Spring Break Getaway

This cabin was perfect for me, my wife, and two 9 year old girls. It was very private, in a cul-de-sac, with only one other property. The property was as described online. The Pros: Hot tub, shuffleboard table, private location, parking, location to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and views. Cons: Probably just the small TV in the master bedroom. However, the LR TV was the right size. Diane was a great host and responds quickly. Overall, the property is worthy of 5 stars. If you are looking for a cute, private cabin, and centrally located, you won’t be disappointed.

Father and daughter weekend

This cabin was everything we read about and more. Very clean and comfortable. They even had wonderful Christmas decorations up which made it feel festive.

The pictures don’t do it justice

We stayed four nights total at the cabin. There was only four of us and we had plenty of space! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect vacation. Everything was actually pretty wonderful with no issues, which is odd for me. The loft has a game area for the kids. We had two teenagers so that was perfect for them. The hot tub was enjoyable and secluded. It’s under the patio and it’s screened in for privacy. We hung out on the back patio a lot and enjoyed our amazing view. We cooked while we were there as it had a full kitchen, crockpot, flat griddle, microwave, stove/oven and dishwasher. There was also a Kurig and regular coffee pot. The cabin was clean, and very accommodating. Diane communicated via the VRBO messenger and was so helpful. While we were there, a little black bear was sniffing around the garbage bin on the front porch one evening and she messaged us to let us know not to walk out front. He popped up on the security cameras and she reached out to us. The kids were bummed they didn’t get to see him, but we saw his sandy footprints the next morning. It’s a great cabin on a cul-de-sac. I’ll definitely book here again.

Great Get Away

This was the perfect place for a quiet retreat. We loved the cabin. We loved the view. It was relaxing and enjoyable. The owners were very helpful. We would highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back again:)

Perfection

Outstanding...that describes the cabin in a heartbeat... Clean, spacious, all the comforts of home... Fully stocked kitchen, roomy, comfy beds, plenty of hot water... The hot tub and fireplace just added to the coziness of the cabin. Perfect location for hiking in the National Park. Quiet and the views are killer. We would stay here again with out hesitation.

Birthday Getaway

Four of us adults stayed the weekend at the cabin for my fiancé’s birthday. It was a blast. Diane communicated more than any other place I’ve stayed. She was great. We spent a ton of time in the hot tub.

dream cabin

This cabin is wonderful, we were super delighted from the moment we arrived at the place. The decoration of the house is very beautiful and it is very cozy for you to relax, drink wine, watch a movie or simply admire the beautiful view of the mountains. This was my first trip to Gatlinburg and I'm sure I want to go back and stay in the same cabin. Thanks to Diane who gave us all the support and responded very quickly to help us with any question.
