The property is billed as a resort, but this was far from a resort experience. The property is poorly maintained including the bath tub faucet head being completely detached from the wall, jacuzzi heads that were full of mold, the kitchen sink faucet randomly turning itself back on, cabinet doors not staying closed, front door being misaligned and difficult to close and more. When reported to the front desk, we were told someone from management would call us and they’d be happy to fix the issues. No one called. I followed up again. They did send someone to try to resolve the issues. They told us the bathroom faucet would have to wait until after we checked out because it needed a day to cure after it was fixed so we wouldn’t be able to shower, so we just dealt with it. They attempted to fix the front door but ultimately could not. Said they’d need to replace the door which did not happen. They fixed the other issues, minus the mold. No one ever cleaned that.
The property outside of our room was also pretty beat up, and the mini golf area was a joke. Greens were missing big pieces or had large holes ripped in them.
The room truly was a sign of a much larger lack of attention and care by management and staff. The issues in our room alone should have been noted by housekeeping and either cleaned or sent to maintenance for repair long before the room was assigned to a guest.
Terrible customer experience. We will not return. Many other true resort options in the area.
