Quaint little spot - as advertised. Not much space for a family of four but worked great for our brief visit in Seward. Bed wasn’t too comfortable; otherwise, no complaints. Very nice experience.

Cute, cozy, clean, and comfortable!

We found this unit to be so cute and cozy. Beds are comfortable, and provided us a good nights rest. Location is perfect, quiet neighborhood and short walk to beach. Fit four of us perfectly.

Brief visit to Seward

Enjoyed our stay. Very convenient to the harbor and restaurants. And the stove was wonderful after a cold wet day on the water.

The place is in a convenient location and easily walkable to restaurants, shops, and the water. It was clean and had what we needed for overnight stay, but the furniture and decor were dated. Also, we didn’t get the address or check-in info until I reached out a couple hours before arrival, and there weren’t any checkout instructions provided. The host replied quickly when I messaged, but it would’ve been nice to have those details ahead of time.

Very comfortable and convenient!

This well-equipped home was perfect for the 4 of us women. I slept on the couch, which wasn’t as comfortable as the beds, but the home was well-equipped in the kitchen, had a washer and dryer, and was located near downtown and the harbor. We needed bedding for the couch and owners were very responsive in bringing it over.

Immaculate Unit & Wonderful Owners

We stay in vacation rentals all over the US, but the best one ever has been in our backyard! Tim & his wife were the most helpful and accommodating hosts. We had a perfect Alaska reunion with family and friends! On top of that, honestly these were the cleanest rentals I have ever been in, and this sentiment was shared by all of ten of us who stayed in the two units. The bathrooms fairly gleamed, and the towels were soft and smelled freshly washed. I always am a bit hesitant in rentals because I am a clean freak, but I felt completely at home here. You can tell the owners are the ones maintaining the property, as a cleaning service doesn't give that kind of attention to the property. But the owners here have a real sense of pride in their property and it shows. It isn't next to the water, but the ocean is only a block away and easily only a 2 minute walk. I would most certainly highly recommend this rental to everyone!

The hostess did not communicate after I emailed her. I had to call her. Then she gave me the wrong apartment. She gave me the code and I walked in and there were other people's belongings in the apartment. She gave me another place but the whole place smelled old and stale. Both bedrooms smelled like urine and sweat. The bathroom was moldy. It was too late to get a different night stay because everything was booked up. The old building is actually a doublewide trailer or manufactured home. I would not recommend this place.

My overall impression is good. However, the first night we were concerned with the Neighbor dogs barking off & on until 1030 at night. After that, it was quiet. Also, one of the bedroom doors wouldn’t shut. But overall, we were very happy with everything else. The location was great for us. Thanks for being so speedy with bringing us more coffee. It was much appreciated.

Nice rental

We enjoyed several days here in Seward. The propoerty had enough beds for the entire family and we hung out in the living room at night relaxing and watching TV. Super conveniently located, just a quick walk to restaurants downtown, to the ocean, and in the opposite direction, to the marina where we took a boat tour and saw some amazing wildlife.

The only issue we had was something beeping in the middle of the night. Beeped 4 times then 12 seconds nothing then beep again. We looked for where it was coming from but could not find it.

Relaxed, comfy stay in Seward!

I spent two nights here on a work trip. It was very clean, well-maintained, a block from Waterfront Park, and close to everything else. All the appliances worked well, it was stocked with coffee and tea, and the bed and couches were comfy!

Fantastic! Would stay again. Very clean, organized, had a washer and dryer. Very cozy, beds were AMAZING! Very comfortable, more than enough space. Parking was great, easy. Located in the middle of seward, perfect distance to all activities

Good: Communication with the property manager was great. He even allowed us to add one extra person to the reservation after we booked. He was amazing by allowing us to check in as soon as we got off the train which was so incredibly helpful. We received the code at an appropriate time before check in. It is 1 block from the bay and approximately 2 blocks from the cities free shuttle. People in the neighborhood seemed very nice and even offered us a ride when they saw us pulling our luggage. Bad: It was pouring down rain and we had to trek our luggage 2 blocks from the free shuttle, up hill. 3 of us are younger and it wasn't such and issue, but we had our mothers with us so that made things more challenging. The trailer was a bit run down but to be honest we were in a small Alaskan town so its different than a big city. The cleaning left a bit to be desired. There was a huge cobweb in the main bedroom, a dirty hand towel on the bathroom sink that I'm assuming the cleaning crew just forgot and the front bedroom and bathroom windows were left wide open so one of the beds had a huge wet spot from the rain pouring in. The neighbors wake early and are very chatty so since we shared a wall, we too were up early.

Cozy, small unit a block from the water which was great for walking! The unit was a little rough around the edges though, not as clean and well kept as I expected for the price. The kitchen and laundry was much appreciated. Worked just fine for our group but wasnt amazing.

Sweet sanctuary

My room had a window that opened and it was a cool breeze and very quiet. We had a sweet reunion with family. We were so happy and grateful to be here in beautiful surroundings and to be close to the beach was superb! Thank you!!
