I wish there had been an elevator. The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and would be better if fresh fruit had been offered. The coffee and half and half was delicious! The room was clean and the beds/pillows were quite comfortable. I would definitely stay there again in the future!

My husband and I reserved a room at this hotel. It is a shame that there is almost no competition in this area for a hotel. When we went to register the gentleman who handled our check in was rude. Never looked us in the eye. My husband handed our credit card to him and he swiped it (I guess he used a swipe)and slapped it down on the counter and said it was declined.We used a debit card to pay for the room. Which is something we hate to do. Later we went to the local BBQ place and used the same credit card to pay for our meal. It was good. The next morning I checked my bank account to make sure that the correct amount had been taken from our account for the room. The reason was because the clerk was so rude we just didn't trust him. Honestly if we hadn't traveled all day and weren't so tired and if there was somewhere else close by to stay we would have just left. We will never stay there again, or recommend this facility.

We stayed here for a wedding in the area. Checked in, got dressed, and left for the wedding….so far so good. Returned about 11pm, showered, and got in bed. My 5 year old pointed out a bug crawling under the sheets. Comparison with online pictures of bed bugs was an absolute match, no mistake. We took pictures and a video, and put the bug in a plastic bag and took it to the front desk. After waking up “Mike,” I have never been treated so rudely by any hotel staff ever. He acted upset at me and never offered a “I’m sorry this happened to your family and how can we handle it.” I had to demand a refund so we could leave and packed my 2 young kids back up at midnight. I told him all I expected was a refund and some sort of empathy. He only offered crudeness, and told me, “I am not sorry that this happened.” I have perfect pictures that I will try to attach to this review, and a video time stamped in the room that night.

We appreciate you sharing your observations with us, and we have reached out to the management of the hotel concerning the underlying issues so that they can research each of these matters in more detail. Rest assured that we have given a full refund and these issues will be looked into. The bed bug issue is not a subject to be taken lightly and is one that is acted on immediately. Although we have our staff inspect rooms regularly for any evidence of bed bugs, in the case of this guest our pest control provider was on site of the alleged report. The pest control did a thorough inspection and found no evidence of any stage of a bed bug.

The person checking us in was disrespectful and made us feel as though he were disrupting his day and a bother to him. Additionally, the $50 deposit for incidentals is still on our account. At one point we needed an additional key card. When I asked for one he made me feel like I was a criminal or something. Very upsetting stay.

The hotel is next to a train track. They stopped at 10pm. When we checked in we had to try three different numbers to find somebody to check us in. Nobody was around. If you need a hotel for a clean and safe place to spend the night while traveling thru, it will work.

All gates were locked when I arrived. No buzzer. The phone listed was "disconnected". Eventually I started honking (good thing I had my car) until somebody came out. The place is clean enough but quite outdated. The area is not the best either.

Good, no frills location.
Very clean. Breakfast was adequate. The room was warm and comfortable and had two chairs. There was no microwave in the room and had to use the one in the lobby. Good choices on the TV. Fast food is all that is available nearby.

The room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. The room had lots of electrical outlets to plug in your devices! The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Yes there is a train track in the rear of the hotel but it wasn’t very loud and it stopped running at 9:00 pm. We weren’t bothered by it at all.

Friendly, helpful staff on check-in. Clean room and bathroom. Motel is located near a train track which had a couple of trains pass by during the night but otherwise quiet. Safe area with a nearby restaurant a short drive away with good food.

My wife went down to the main desk to ask for extra towels since there were 3 of us in the room. The attendant acted like it was a bother. The 3rd guest, an elderly person in bad health, went down for breakfast and accidently spilled his milk. The attendant actually got ignorant with him. Never again will I get a room at that place, they need to get a different occupation, they suck at the hospitality business.

Need upgrade
Air conditioner in room was loud, and was set on 69, but seemed warmer. Blow dryer didn't work, was replaced after I reported it. Asked for bottom room due to husband having trouble with stairs and couldn't get one. They have no elevator.

Bark out.
I had called before hand to let them know that I will be bringing a pet & was informed it was okay. We checked in and settled our pet in the room so that we could go to the place we came to visit. I informed the manager that we would be leaving our pet there. I was told that we had to take our pet with us. I said that we normally leave our pet there. It was hot and you can't leave an animal inthe car. They told us that if our dog was to bark we would have to come back to get him & we would have to leave. So I hot upset demanded a refund and checked out. If the hotel is really pet friendly then they would know that dogs do bark. Will never go back.
