Lovely quiet place

Lovely house with fabulous little pool and immediate access to the beach. We were looked after so well and loved going to the little nearby tavernas for family cooked Cretan food. Would love to come back for a longer stay.

Amazing Property

This property is faultless. High specification, super clean, amazing views, almost private beach, lovely pool, completely quiet. Housekeeper was absolutely fantastic, serviced apartment multiple times during our stay, cleaned pool everyday, she was really great! We had an awesome time here, the apartment cannot be faulted. Perfect if you want to be completely removed from everyday life!

Quiet Location with Crystal Clear Waters

A perfect location if you are looking for a quiet spot with beautiful views and crystal clear waters. The Taverna next door has very good food, as do most of the local restaurants. The property is well maintained and has almost everything one would need for a perfect vacation. Our only suggestion is to add some towel bars to the bathrooms.

Beautiful

We stayed only 2 days but we definitely are going back. If you are looking for a place with incredible view, this is it. We got there very late in the night but we didn’t have any problems with checking in or with finding the place. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I definitely recommend it.

Beautiful! We loved our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay in Sfakia! The villa is perfect and the area is so quaint. We loved visiting the tavernas in the nearby towns. Unfortunately most of the tavernas in the nearest region were not yet open for the summer season so we had to drive about 20 minutes to the nearby hiking towns, but that was fine! The only problem we had with the villa was that the door handles stuck really badly (like the main bathroom door) which actually resulted in one of us getting stuck in the bathroom until the other could open the door. Other than that, the villa was perfect and the staff so friendly!

Super Unterkunft und herrliche ruhige Lage

Für Menschen die Ruhe und Privatsphäre lieben ist das der beste Ort. Direkt am meistens menschenleeren Strand. Super Taverne mit netten Besitzern direkt neben an. Alles in allem für uns war es perfekt. Vielen Dank!

Alles bestens, gerne wieder

Die Lage ist wirklich erstklassig. Blick aufs Meer, zum Meer sind es keine 20 m. Nebenan eine Taverne, dort kann man ganz gut essen. Das Haus selber war wie beschrieben, richtig chic. Der Service vor Ort war super, der Pool wurde jeden Morgen gereinigt, die freundliche Griechin vor Ort sehr hilfsbereit. Jeden Morgen kam ein Bäcker, so hatten wir immer frisches Brot zum Frühstück. Fazit: Absolute Empfehlung

Perfekter Urlaub ☀️

Die Unterkunft war sehr sehr schön jedoch mit kleinen Schönheitsfehlern. Es fehlten zusätzliche Badetücher und es wurden auch keine auf Anfrage bereitgestellt. Der erwähnte Barbecue Grill befand sich an der Rückseite des Objektes und lud nicht zum Grillen ein. Ansonsten tolles Objekt mit super Lage.

Sehr schöne Villa mit direktem Blick auf das Meer

Sehr schön direkt am Meer gelegen, super sauberer Pool und sehr nette, ruhige Umgebung (waren zur Osterzeit für eine Woche da). Es gab eine Taverne, die in direkter Nachbarschaft auf hatte. Diese war aber so toll, dass wir insgesamt 4 mal dort eingekehrt sind. Jahreszeitbedingt (April) war das Wetter sehr wechselhaft, daher konnten wir den Pool nicht ganz nutzen, aber das liegt an uns. Insgesamt sehr gute und extrem nette Betreuung vor Ort. Einzige Bemerkung: Das Warmwasser wird über Solar geheizt. Bei schlechtem Wetter kann das Wasser morgens kalt sein..........

Die Villa und die Lage sind absolut traumhaft.Der Pool war top und 2 Meter zum Meer.Nebendran eine gute Taverne! Die dame welche die Villa in Schuss hält meint es ja nett aber war teilweise dann auch etwas nervig.....aber das ist wohl halt ihre Art

Alles hat super und einwandfrei Funktionert. NUR mir zwichenhändler oder Agentur oreotravel hat nicht geklappt. Ich bitte die eigentumer eine direkte vertrag mit Fewo Direkt zu machen. Erst dann kann alles Einwandfrei laufen. oreotravel hat weder auf Emails noch auf Whatsup Nachrichten geantwortet. Gruß Vafa

Prachtige en rustige locatie !

Aangenaam verblijf gehad in dit mooi maar vooral rustig gelegen vakantiehuis ! Alles dichtbij voorzien : taverne , supermarkt, strand , mobiele bakker. Prima service van de dame die instaat voor het onderhoud en service en haar nuttige info van de streek !

Relaxing getaway

We loved our stay in this property, set in a quiet location but walking distance to a couple of Tavernas. Property was a very good standard, the pool was great and the sea was metres away. We loved it and would love to return some day.

peaceful retreat

If you are looking for a secret hideaway in a beautiful setting this is the place. The accommodation is as you see, modern clean and has all you need. We spent a week in May and didn't want to leave. We loved the tavern next door and had their special each night. We had a car which is essential for exploring the beautiful area. The cleaner came in 3 times in the week which was not expected and very welcome. The pool was small but a welcome cool off when sunbathing. The sea is so close and great to swim and snorkel in. We will definitely be returning.

tolles Haus ruhige Lage

Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön, im wesentich untouristischeren Süden der Insel. Sauberkeit, Lage und Ausstattung lassen keine Wünsche offen. Es wird regelmässig geputzt, der Pool wird stets gereinigt.Handtücher und Bettwäsche werden gewechselt. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Einzige Kritik ist das sehr schlechte Wlan (es scheint auch das Apps wie Amazon und Kicker gesperrt sind) das in der bebachbarten Taverne sehr viel besser geht. Wäre ja nicht so schlimm,allerdings ist das Handynetz dort auch sehr schlecht. Morgens um 9 kommt das Bäckerauto wo man frisches Brot usw. kaufen kann und neben an ist eine sehr gute einfache Taverna. Im Ort Frangokastello (ca.8 min zu fahren) bekommt man alles was man braucht im Supermarkt. Ein perfekter Ort zum entspannen. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen.

Einfach Top!

Wir haben das schöne Haus schon zum 2.Mal gebucht und kennen die Sfakia und Frangokastello schon 25 Jahre. Es ist schwer in Worte zu fassen, wie schön dieses Haus liegt und was es alles bietet. Alles ist genau so, wie man es auf den Bildern sehen kann. Modernes Haus, ruhig gelegen, unmittelbar am Lybischen Meer, toller einsamer Strand, super klares Wasser, kleine Taverne "Kioni" direkt in ein paar Metern Entfernung mit gutem einfachen kretischem Essen. In Frangokastello gibt es verschiedene Tavernen mit großem Essensangebot - einfach ausprobieren was schmeckt! Tip - blue sky, Oasis, babis und popi und kali kardia sind immer einen Besuch wert. Abschließend einen ganz besonderen Dank nochmals an Michalis und seiner Familie für die ganz herzliche Begrüßung und Betreuung bei allen unseren Anliegen. Σας ευχαριστώ! Wohlfühlen, abschalten und Ruhe garantiert!

Sehr schöne und angenehme Unterkunft in der wir uns besonders wohl gefühlt haben

Sehr schöne und gepflegt Wohnanlage mit herrlicher Lage. Gute Ausstattung, es ist alles da um einen schönen angenehmen Urlaub zu verbringen. Drei Tavernen in unmittelbarer Umgebung und der tägliche Bäckerservice trägt dazu bei. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder!

FANTASTIC

A LOVELY VILLA, IN A VERY PEACEFUL AREA. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF TAVERNAS NEARBY, BOTH VERY WELCOMING, AND BOTH SERVING TASTY LOCAL DISHES. FRANGOCASTELLO IS ONLY 5 MINUTES DRIVE, WHERE THERE ARE WELL STOCKED MINI-MARKETS, AND SOME MORE NICE TAVERNAS. THE VILLA IS TRULY LOVELY WITH A SUPERB VIEW OF THE SEA !!! SUPERB !!!

Hidden gem.

Beautiful location, peaceful with stunning views. Villa had everything we needed. Pool was lovely for cooling off but the sea was much better for swimming (and warmer!). Car definitely required unless you're a serious hiker! Maria and her family in the closest taverna were very welcoming and helped us arrange a car and a fishing trip. The food there is very good but if you prefer to cook in the villa, Maria will make you a Greek salad to takeaway! There is bread van which stops outside the villa in the morning. There was an information pack but it was in German. I asked to have an English version but apparently there isn't one. Shame because I do feel we missed some local attractions, beaches maybe and places to eat through lack of knowledge. As others have said on reviews the en suite shower is all show and a terrible design. It pours water into the bedroom when used. We had to ball up a bath mat to try to stop it. I would suggest only using the shower in the main bathroom which is excellent. Also there is no shelf space in the en suite, nowhere to put a toothbrush and no toilet roll holder! Such little things to correct but presumably it has been like this since being built. Overall though we would definitely go again, Nikos the caretaker provided a welcome pack which was fantastic, arriving in the early hours as we did there was no opportunity to get milk and bread. He could be contacted any time and we found him to be very helpful. The villa was cleaned through, clean sheets and towels every three days. If you want peace, staying somewhere with lovely views and friendly locals, come and stay here.

my daughter and i had a lovely stay at mary beach however i must stress that a car is absolutely essential thank goodness for the caretaker and his family they were so helpful and delightful to us they took us to the supermarket several times and gave us some lovely cake as well also the lady at Kioni tavern was very helpful and i must point out it would be helpful if the information book inside the villa was in English please

fantastische Lage und Ausstattung des Hauses

wer die Abgeschiedenheit mag, ist hier genau richtig. Die Lage ist ein Traum. Morgens erst einmal nach dem aufstehen in Meer baden gehen.Die Aussicht kann man schon vom Bett aus durch die großen Panoramafenster genießen. Direkt neben dem Haus eine feine kleine Taverne, mit sehr freundlichem, liebenswürdigem Personal. Traumstrand direkt vor der Tür und weitere schöne Strände in der Nähe. Diese Haus ist genau das richtige für Menschen die keine Stadt und oder andere Attraktionen im Urlaub brauchen. Man ist so-zu-sagen am schönsten Arsch der Welt...

Wer Ruhe, Komfort und das richtige ursprüngliche Kreta sucht ist hier richtig

Wunderbarer Urlaub. Tolles Haus mit schönem Pool und wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer. Es fühlt sich an als hätte man eine Privatbucht vor dem Haus. 3 Tavernen in Gehnähe! Wer auf Individualurlaub und Ruhe steht ist hier genau richtig! Bemängeln kann ich höchstens, dass Kleinigkeiten fehlten wie Sonnenschirm beim Haus, WLAN funktioniert nur sehr sehr sporadisch im Haus, Hifi Anlage und DVD Player waren nicht vorhanden (aber der Herr vor Ort hat uns dann einen DVD Player zur Verfügung gestellt), beim Besteck fehlten noch kleine Gabeln und kleine Löffeln... Es sind 3 Häuser nebeneinander. Da alles letztes Jahr gebaut wurde fehlen noch innen ein bisserl Dekoration an Wänden wie Bilder. Aber ich denke das wird sicher noch nachdekoriert. Wie man sieht es sind wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten. Im Gesamten ein traumhafter Urlaub bei traumhaften Ambiente - wir kommen wieder!
