The staff are very helpful, and kept their professional during the peak. Our staycation was on the weekend, so most of their amenities were full and room services were slow by the reason of lack of staff. Overall, we have a good time in their clean and cozy room.

Privacy issue
Another disappointing stay with Alva hotel. Although the front office staff is nice and polite, he disclosed my hotel staying experience in front of my partner which I considered utterly unnecessary and created awkward moment for us both. In addition, when he verified my residential address, he asked the details for which flat, then again, I know given the current Covid situation, it’s unavoidable to ask for residential address, but detailed as which flat of which floor? I don’t think a hotel really needs info of that. He confirmed my address by saying it out loud again. Upon check in, even tho the booking and payment is made by me, the welcome screen on TV only shows the name of my male partner, I reckon it’s a matter of sexism
