Great stay

The only downside to the place was the pictures makes the living area and dinning area a lot more spacious and rooming then in person. Overall the place met all our needs.

My family recently spent 4 nights at this house. Our children had a great time, the location was beautiful and the house had ample amenities for a comfortable stay. The jacuzzi could use some improved maintenance and cleaning but this was our only complaint. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Home

Lovely, spacious home with lots of amenities. Plenty of towels, pots, pans, cookie sheets, blankets, pillows, toilet paper. Has coffee pot and keruig. A lot of parking, 3 miles before Shaver town... we would definitely stay again. Five couples slept peacefully.

Check in was easy but for the price i would have expected way Better…broken beds not even made, bed sheet dirty house furniture n lighting dirty n webs, jacuzzi dirty dirty, patio dirty n not even lighting No outside firepit nor games football nor basketball all missing We made tye best of it of course after paying 1k for 2 nights but will not rent this location again

Great cabin

The cabin had four large bedrooms and all very comfy. The wrap around deck was great for meals and enjoying the hot tub. We did have some issues like no paddles for the ping pong that we were all excited to play and no propane for the grill. We were there for Mother’s Day and had a special dinner planned that didn’t happen due to no propane. We contacted VACASA and they said they would put in a ticket, but we never had an update or hear anything. It put a damper on things for sure.

Great Cabin, Hot Tub Needs Cleaning

All the guests who used the hot tub came out with bacterial infections, pseudomonas aeruginosa. This is pretty common in hot tubs when poorly maintained. Not a huge deal but inconvenient and now another expense for the guests to deal with. The rest of the cabin was very nice though, would’ve been 5/5 with better management.

Crystal Creek Lane House

The house was not clean upon check in and the three employees had to stay in a hotel over an hour away. The manager was helpful the next day when I was contacted back from my calls the night before. She did pay for the hotels that was an added cost to us and comped the cleaning. It was not a good experience checking in at all though, need to ensure the house is indeed ready for checkin before the guests arrive.

Cedar Creek was listing now you call it Dogwood Mountain ?????

The property was not clean. Kitchen and tables were not clean. Hot tub was disgusting - took two days to get it cleaned. They had to completely pump it out. It finally did get cleaned out. The bbq was a total mess with grease all over the unit and the deck. The grease tray was completely rusted out. Bedding was not very clean. Carpet is all stained and very old. Blinds in bed room are half missing. Small items. 3 rolls of toilet paper for 8 adults for 5 nights. I should not have to bring TP Overall place was not as advertised. Cleanliness was terrible and condition of carpets etc. very poor. I did not even mention the rat feces at front door and sound of rats in walls. But was not clean. Property could be a gem. But it needs some attention to detail. Shaver lake was awesome and we had a great time at the lake and made do with the house conditions.

We saw a mouse couple of hours after we arrived and tried to call management but all they texted us back all night was "please be patient and someone will come and help you as soon as possible " Needless to say we did not rest or enjoy our stay at all. Everything in the kitchen was also very dirty and old. We used almost nothing in the kitchen and just ate out. Would not return ever again!

lovely get away

It was a wonderful experience the views of the pine trees were lovely the air was so fresh the cabin was clean what you see in the pictures is what you get . very clean. Spa is good ! Also plenty of games for kids to play basketball on site , I also chose this cabin because it said no pets. So definitely not torn cabin it’s in great condition.

I traveled with twin 7 month old babies and this house to my surprise had a high chair and utensils for babies/toddlers. I really appreciated that and that they were stocked with a plentiful amount of dishes and towels. And I was pleasantly surprised the of the water pressure and how hot the water was in the shower.
