Nice motel-hotel in Shawinigan which had very good prices. Owner-operator family were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were extremely clean. The hotel is 'old' but it has been very renovated inside to modern standards. Would stay here anytime again in the area. In the heart of the good part of Shawinigan/water front area and not far from the national park.

I really enjoyed my stay at La Rocaille Inn. The rooms were clean and well maintained, which contributed greatly to my comfort. The hospitality was warm, and the staff was attentive to our needs, making the experience even more pleasant. The place is calm and soothing, perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend this establishment for a relaxing and friendly stay.

Although the building is likely ~50 years old, the interior has been comprehensively, tastefully, and well renovated with enlarged modern rooms and bathrooms. It appeared to be quite busy while we were there, but it was very quiet in the room. Given the proximity to La Mauricie and the highway to Saguenay, as well as the charm of the Grand-Mere district of Shawinigan, it is a good choice.

The gardens and views of the St Lawrence from our room was spectacular. The common areas in the downstairs were fantastic. We loved this place. The ambiance and vibe here was incredible. Just don’t look too closely. It needs a new roof and some of the renovations in our room weren’t the best but we didn’t care. This was our favourite place we stayed at in Charlevoix this week.

: When we arrived at the property, we were greeted by two people who didn't speak English. We were given no instructions on wifi, the unit, television, or anything. The room smelled like smoke and the bed was hard. I wouldn't stay here again. When we arrived at midnight it was only 9:00 pm our local time and we weren't tired, we tried to watch TV but couldn't figure it out, everything said we had to sign in. Also, no wife was given so I couldn't stay on our cells. The stay was disappointing, to say the least
